  1. Hi. I just picked up my brother's '06 Legacy wagon for my daughter, and I'm working through all of the maintenance items/fluid changes. Unfortunately, the dipstick for the front differential won't budge, and I'm afraid of just snapping it off if I get too rough with it. Anyone ever had this issue, and if so how did you resolve? I've searched and seen posts about dipsticks stuck in tubes but haven't come across anything with the 2.5i auto. Thanks, Jeff
  2. Well the time has come to part with my Spec B. Full classified ad is here: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/md-2006-lt-spec-b-8500-237886.html It's tastefully modded, has been taken care of, and needs a loving home. Please PM me or email at hamburger1971 at hotmail.com for more info! There are more pics on the posting above, and I'm happy to email some as well. Thanks, Jeff
  3. Posting this here even though it's not technically a for sale post - but will quickly turn it ito one as I'm 99% selling the car. Thanks for any feedback on pricing.
  4. Hi. I'm looking for pricing opinions here, and maybe generating some leads; I'm 99% going to sell my modded 06 Spec B with about 157K miles on it. The car is mechanically excellent, engine is very strong, and has had all the service/maintenance done. It has been modded as follows: SPT exhaust K&N intake Perrin Top mount Cobb catted downpipe Turboxs uppipe Cusco rear sway cusco h brace Swift springs Cobb Accessport tuned to approx 300hp/300ftlbs JL CleanSweep Alpine 4ch amp and MBQuart Speakers all around Apline amp and Eclipse 12 Inch sub Grey Rota Torque2 with newer Conti DWS STi Brembos with new pads and rotors up front My wife's been the primary driver for a few years, mostly using it for trips back and forth to NJ; she just changed jobs so we're looking at other options. The car's been dead reliable, fun, and generally great to own. I've done minor maintenance myself (fluid changes, brakes), and DPS has done larger stuff like installing a WRX clutch and flywheel and the timing belt/water pump. Cosmetically the car's OK - it's not a new car after all, and it's been well loved but it's not perfect. I know I could part it out and probably make more $$, but I'd rather see it go as-is to an enthusiast. And quite frankly I don't want to have to wrench when I've got kids vying for my attention. I'd appreciate any feedback on suggested pricing, or even interest if anyone out there wants to ping me. I am on the boards occasionally but email at hamburger1971 at g mail is the best way to reach me. Thanks, Jeff
  5. I'm thinking about selling my 2006 LGT Spec B, wanted to get a feel to see if there's any interest. The car is great, but I have the chance to buy a friend's car and may want to jump on it. The wife won't let me have three cars, and I'm keeping my Miata. I would consider parting it, but need stock parts in trade - there's a tipping point somewhere, maybe if I can find buyers for the Brembos, exhaust, wheels, and IC then I'll part the whole thing and go stock. It's an 06 Spec B and has 101,500, modded with: SPT exhaust V.2 Brembo brakes K&N intake Perrin Top mount intercooler Cobb catted dp Turboxs up pipe Cusco rear sway cusco h brace Swift lowering springs RavSpec front lip RBS grill Cobb Accessport, Tuned by TDC Rota Tarmac 2's with almost new Conti Sport DWS JL CleanSweep Alpine 4ch amp with MBQuart Speakers all around Apline monoblock powering Eclipse 12 Inch sub Please let me know if you're interested in the car I'll send some pics. Price is up in the air; to sell it as-is I'd have to get decent $$ for it; to part it out, I'd like to quickly find buyers for most of the aftermarket goodies. Thanks, Jeff
