  1. Oh, semi-unrelated but in case anyone missed it, the Donut Media "Up to Speed" video on the Legacy came out yesterday!
  2. Looks like they're working here again on the original post. Is there anything else you'd like to see?
  3. Strange. They're still showing up on NASIOC. https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2919976
  4. Crap, where did the photos go?? I put them on NASIOC and they were showing up. I'll try another host. The 5MT did survive. I also have an 06 STi 6MT that I'll be selling if I don't fix and keep the car.
  5. Unfortunately I won't have enough time to part it out. I am up for orders this month and there's no way the Navy is keeping me where I am due to my sea/shore rotation. It's either fix it and sell it or sell it as is
  6. It only failed because I shifted into 3rd on the highway when I shouldve gone to 4th. It was completely driver error, nothing to do with the mileage.
  7. I don't know if it is rod knock. I suspect just valves but someone (who's never seen the car) said it could be. There's a video of the sound here:
  8. It definitely doesn't need $4K if it's just valves. I'll have a compression/leakdown test done to narrow down the possibilities.
  9. Year, Make and Model: 2006 Subaru Legacy GT Color: Silver w/ black interior and leather seats Miles: 180K on the body/80K on the engine Transmission: 5MT Title: Clean In Hand Lien: None Location: Hanford, CA Seller's email address: mforshay@gmail Asking Price: $7K $6K This car has been my baby. It may be hard to believe but I have honestly never launched it due to the amount of torque it's got and fear that I might break something. I downshifted to 3rd when I should've gone to 4th, don't know what I was thinking. It's got typical wear and tear for a car of this age but no major dings or dents. Selling due to financial hardship.
