Thanks for everyone's help. I think I'm going to go with the koni cut and guts for struts and undecided on the springs still.

Would a used set of jdm spec b Bilstein struts with the springs lower the car at all? Also, what exactly blows out the factory struts with the tein h techs? Bottoming out or the spring rate change?

My plan was new 04 kyb's but I'm just trying to confirm that the 3rd gen struts are a little stiffer, sounds like it's a maybe. What springs do you suggest then that would only give me about an inch of drop without breaking the bank on a daily?

So I have heard rumors that 3rd gen struts will fit in my 05 LGT and they have a little stiffer valving. Is this true and are the front and rear stiffer? My plan is to install tein h tech with new struts and not breaking the bank (daily/ winter beater). Would front and rear 3rd gen struts with h techs be a good setup?
