  1. 2005 Subaru Outback XT Currently 135,xxx, but will increase- daily driver. Granite Red Pearl, black cloth interior. Manual Transmission Asking Price: $6,000 Contact info: sus97lx@gmail.com I am the second owner, purchased at 96,000, have owned for 2 years. Upon purchasing had compression test done, all 4 cylinders were healthy. 2 inch tow hitch installed upon purchase. Maintenance Done: Oil changes every 3,000 miles, full synthetic. Wheel bearings and tires- Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 New battery August 2018 Rear brakes and lines replaced May 2019 Things to note: Power Steering lines need replacement Rear Windshield Wiper broke off last winter (I was scraping ice off car and snapped it). Scratch on front bumper by driver side fog light- parking garage got the better of me. Driver side seat heater doesn't work, bought it like that, never got it fixed. Asking 6,000.
  2. Bought a set of 2.5 RS Gold Rims to use as winter wheels. Ended up using them for a season but my wagon had alignment issues due to lowering springs which wore my rear tires pretty bad. Thus I have 2 good tires to include in sale of the rims. 2 tires are worn beyond use. All 4 rims are in good condition, albeit dirty. They are straight, hold air, not curbed. Will work great for year round or winter wheels. Classic Subie gold. (4) 2.5 RS rims 16x7, 5x100 bolt pattern ($250) (2) Cooper WM-SA2 Winter 215/55/16 ($50) Asking $250 for the bundle to a local buyer. Shipping extra. Again, you get all 4 tires, only 2 are usable. Paypal is sus97lx@gmail.com Quickest response is text 914-714-0195
  3. ^^Looks awesome! I am the proud new owner of an 05 GRP OBXT and am slowly accumulating parts for where I'd like to end up. Ended up picking up xtea's pink springs and USDM bilsteins from another member. Already have F&R sways from my previous LGTs as well as most Stage 2 parts. Looking forward to putting the new suspension in and joining the thread officially!
  4. I'd guess it's no more complicated than Jazzy. That one was a little involved as you had to crack the radio open and remove the cd player, etc. This is a bit of a headscratcher since there's no walk through, so being an electronic n00b, I'm not really sure how complicated it will get. To me, the main area things could get messy is hooking up the FM modulator. I think after a couple youtube videos I'd feel much more comfortable. As long as it doesn't get any more involved than clipping out/in various rainbow cables, I'm confident I could handle it. Any input from members or OP would be greatly appreciated.
  5. How's the setup holding up so far. I am contemplating trying to do this...though I am no audio expert. I did the Jazzy Aux in on my old LGT and that worked out just fine. This looks like it may be more involved. Any words of wisdom before I decide which route to go on my new to me OBXT?
  6. ^Thanks Leg. I got completely burnt from the previous seller Legacy+Mustang=Brent (http://legacygt.com/forums/member.php?u=68065). The guy had absolutely no integrity whatsoever, completely misrepresenting a vehicle which put me in a very tough spot and cost me a few thousand dollars between loss on trade in / registration fees / maintenance I put in upon purchase. I try to be the exact opposite when dealing with people because it is the right thing to do. In the end it should all balance out, which means hopefully I've got some good fortune coming my way
  7. Spoke to bleggy and relayed all info I could from my ownership experience. I suggested she opt for dealer insurance on the vehicle if she decides to move forward with purchase.
  8. Year: 2006 Make/Model: Legacy 2.5 GT Sedan, Spec B #444 VIN: 4S3BL676566207387 Reason to Avoid: PM History: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/official-2006-spec-b-registry-94937.html More info: http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=5106345&postcount=1373 Specific info I'm willing to post publicly: http://legacygt.com/forums/member.php?u=68065 Legacy+Mustang=Brent is a complete sh1tbag. Currently out of the community and hopefully for good. 2006 Spec B #444 - stay away from unless you are looking for a 4th gen which needs a motor pulled. PM for details
  9. ^^Done!! New owner of #159 (3rd overall). First guy was a non forum goer, Second was leftybomb. I just picked up with 65k and drove her home roughly 430 miles. Unmolested and drove like she was fresh off the lot! Couldn't be happier. That said, #444 has been traded in. Owned for under 3 months.....which was 3 too long. Do Not Buy.....PM for details.
  10. Will be trading in #444 for #159 on Saturday http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/sw-pa-2006-subaru-legacy-gt-spec-b-224142.html Will update after process is final but all pieces are in place including deposit.
  11. I bought it from that Brent/Legacy/Mustang character. The lifecycle was 1) Billy "RS22b" 2) Will "Chutrain" 3) Brent "Brent=Legacy+Mustang" 4) Mike "BagheeraLGT"
  12. New Spec owner checking in. I recently purchased the SpecB which ChuTrain previously sold (#444). It's back on the forum and in safe hands.
  13. and second question of the day... I stumbled across this link earlier in the thread https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/15300 I can't believe how cheap these are in the motherland....and how obnoxious shipping prices are. dayumn
