Good Day All,
I have a LHD 2004 Legacy which I believe was the first of the Gen4's (same body ass 05-09) that has had transmission issues and replaced with one from an older car (the phase 1 version I believe).
The car now only powers the front wheels.
Is there any info out there that confirms if/how I can possibly replace the current unit with a with one from a RHD 05-09 to regain normal AWD (and get the lights off my dash hopefully).
There are not many LHD examples of this car here (Bahamas) but a ton of RHD ones that i would be able to purchase for parts. Just want to confirm the swap is possible before committing to a purchase.
