Does anyone know the reasoning behind using a full width undercover on DOHC Outbacks, when the SOHC NA 2.5s have a split cover with less coverage? I just got an 08 Outback 2.5i and I'm pondering switching to a full width undercover. It does a better job of keeping dust out and is more aerodynamic imho.. Do full width covers bolt on without modification? Looks like the rear crossmember might be different.
