  1. I have an OEM under seat sub setup that I purhased from dplacen a few years ago and used it for about 6 months until I upgraded to a aftermarket setup. It worked well for me and is boxed and ready to be shipped using USPS as FedEx and UPS are more expensive. Included: OEM sub (Screws for the mounting bracket are screwed into the sub) OEM sub harness OEM sub mounting bracket I'm looking for $100 + shipping I went to USPS and shipping rates to the following locations were provided so you can see what shipping might cost to your location based on the 18"x12"x16.5" box that weighs 6lbs, 7oz: Long Beach, CA 90813 - $29.11 Coral Gables, FL 33134 - $16.70 Houlton, ME 04730 - $16.70
  2. I performed this last weekend on my '08 LGT and it works well. To connect the wires I used a razor blade to to cut around the green wire's jacket about an 1/8" and then a light slice going from one cut around the wire to the other so I could peel off the jacket in just a small section. After opening the wires a bit I fed the fanned out wires from the red wire with green stripe through it and then twisted and soldered the connection. Lastly I wrapped it with electrical tape. This also showed me that I have to fix the rear door motor on the passenger side as it's not working. Could be dirty/greasy as I've read or the motor is dead but that's only $8 on eBay for one from the exact company that makes the OEM units and has a 10mm long shaft with flat side like we need.
