  1. OP's very lucky partner here. I just wanted to follow up and let everyone know I got these. It was a complete surprise, and I couldn't be happier. Thanks to everyone who helped steer my partner in the right direction. (For the record, the SLX fits great, and I actually have 2005 Legacy GT Wagon, not a 2008. And no, sadly, it's not a manual. But I still love this car, and have owned it since new. I don't drive it as much as I used to, but I'm keeping it around to learn how to wrench, and to pass along to my kids next year). I've been a member on LGT.com since 03/2006. I don't post much, but read a lot. Shortly after getting the car, I did the jazzymt audio input mod, using the instructions here. About a year and a half ago, I used this site to do the Dual HVAC Double Din conversion and replaced the original head unit with the JDM HVAC controls and a Sony Android Auto head unit (which, made the car feel so much more modern, I love it!). At the same time, I used the instructions here to replace the rear tailgate wiring harness, and install a backup camera. Shortly after that, I replaced the original exhaust with JDM Wangan Axle-Back Mufflers that I bought from a member here. (They sound amazing!) I've done the front brakes and oil changes, and the rest of the maintenance has been done by a local Subaru specialist, or the dealer. Now that I have the Quickjack, I'm looking forward to doing more of the maintenance myself. Up next are the rear pads and rotors. After that, I'm planning to replace the front and rear suspension with a JDM Bilstein GT Rev B set that I bought together with the Wangan exhaust. Eventually, I'd like to figure out to replace the uppipe (hopefully before the cat disentegrates and takes out the turbo). Again, thanks to everyone for their help. And to my very sneaky, amazing partner, if you're reading this, you're the best!!!
  2. According to their website (http://www.metraonline.com/vfgapi/vehicle/76092?): Metra 70-8901 http://www.metraonline.com/part/70-8901 I haven't personally used the Metra harness, so I can't confirm whether it has all the necessary wires to connect to David's ae64.com i88 harness. I did use the Scosche SU03B harness, so I can confirm that it has all 14 wires needed to work with the ae64.com i88 adapter. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  3. I'm really curious as to whether that Russian faceplate would work in a LHD car with the JDM HVAC though. It seems like it would. I already ordered the Scosche faceplate for the manual HVAC, and am planning to trim the bottom off so I can keep my US hazard on the right side, but I would totally pay the extra money for that russian faceplate just to avoid the hassle of getting either the JDM hazard or Scosche manual faceplate and cutting things to fit.
