  1. Thank you humble....the legacy is fairly new to me and I'm still discovering what aftermarket parts are out there. The Australian forum has a very small 5th gen section which is why I spend my time here now. EDIT: Oh man, you were not kidding when you said 'expensive'. Some of those aftermarket lips are very sexy but with shipping to Aus they end up costing 700 - 800 - 900 dollars....eeeek.....for that little strip of plastic. Your US version 'V-limited' lip is much better value at 90 USD and looks quite tidy. Each to there own but i'm thinking that money will be better spent if it goes towards a hybrid turbo.
  2. Very jealous you guys have a few aftermarket options. I'm struggling to find a jdm/adm specific front lip apart from the b4 ts lip which to order to Australia ends up costing $750 Aud....eeek outrageous for a little slither of plastic. Has anyone on here come across any aftermarket options for the jdm bumper.
  3. Ended up going with the 245.45.18 tyre. We fitted a 245.45 on the front and a 245.40 on the back to compare each size. While the 45 profile looks a little more plump......it filled the guards so much better. The 245.40 just looked too small for the car. I'll post up some better photos tomorrow. Just a couple photos from the gas station tonight. http://i.imgur.com/5DSPKSE.jpg http://i.imgur.com/CAGZrzv.jpg http://i.imgur.com/RswP0ko.jpg
  4. Picked up a set of Enkei RS05RR 18x8.5 et42 for my gen 5 wagon. Still trying to decide on rubber size though. Either 235.45.18 or 245.45.18. The 235 will give me an extra 4.5mm on the side wall and have a little stretch vs an extra 9mm sidewall on the 245 with a squared off look. Both will help correct the speedo error and fill the gaurds. I'm leaning towards the 245s but concerned they may look a bit too beefy with the low ride height. Any pics of either tyre set up / helpfull sudgestions would be greatly appreciated. Car currently sitting on oem 18s 225.45.18 with 20mm hubcentric spacers. Which ever tyre I end up with I would adjust the coilovers so the guard sits just above the tyre. I've seen a few pics in this thread with 245.45.18 but most of them had stock ride heights. Maybe I didn't go back far enough. http://i.imgur.com/dWcdviQ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/OHvMd0o.jpg
  5. Thanks for the reply Libacy GT. I totally forgot about the us 5th gen gt only being available as manual. That explains the lack of info for the 5th gen 5EAT. I'm in the same boat as you, transgo don't list an email address, will have to give them a call....The time difference is not so bad with daylight savings, im gonna try give them a call one morning this week. This would be such a great mod for the gt, the way a stage 2 gen 5 auto gets off the line is just awesome, will only get better with snappy gear changes. I'll let you know what I find out. Thanks again Dan
  6. Can any knowledgeable folk on here confirm if the transgo kit is suitable for newer legacy gt 5eat's. I have an Australian delivered MY10 Liberty GT and i'd love to install this kit if possible.
