  1. I bought my Legacy from a dealer but with 2010 WRX 17 OEM wheels. I'm shopping around for tires and could use some guidance. Should I create a separate thread on this? Location is in Florida, so no snowy winters, just plenty of humid heat and rain. Edit: I also forgot to mention- it'll be for road use not track.
  2. It's a basic question that I could resolve on my own and just buy whatever is compatible, but would like some suggestions because I'd like to put something nice on the car. One of the headlight bulbs burned out and I'd like to replace the pair with an upgrade. What would you all in the community recommend for standard replacement, recommend if being upgraged to HID kits (if they're still a thing), and what to recommend for LED bulbs? Thanks in advance for any feedback.
  3. I have an '09 Legacy with a rear windshield that only has the defrost and I'm looking to replace it with one that also includes the rear wiper. Is there a part number for the assembly?
  4. Nah, not dead just financial situation has me on a stand still, I notice that the cars are difficult to come by now but I still plan on doing it.
  5. Yep, will post pics. Just started looking for that second job for the xtra $$.
  6. An STI S402 costed about 48,000USD+ right? I kind of see myself spending less overall for the car and all the parts that go toward upgrading. I have people that will do the work on the car. I can find a car for about 10,000, and at least another 15,000 to 20,000 for the body and performance parts which I don't mind.
  7. I'm more than willing to do it. As for the '08, it's could have, would have... I couldn't get approved for financing on it..
  8. I tried to go for an '08, it fell through, this is my only other shot. True the '08 is newer and has the 6 spd transmission and suspension, but the suspension will still be replaced with the STI parts, the engine, and all the rest. Basically all the stuff that I would probably be looking to upgrade on the '05 I'll end up replacing on the '08 with the exception of the transmission which the '08 has, that's probably different too. It all has to go, but I need that car pretty bad to get started on plans.
  9. Along with all the other stuff like the brake kit, suspension, headlights and all that other good stuff too probably even the steering column shift although that might be awkward.
  10. I'll want to replace the fenders too, from what I heard the fenders are flared out on the S402 to accomodate the new bumper and the bbs wheels, but other than that I should be fine? As far as the $$, oh I'll be working double jobs to get the project done. I was gonna get an '08 spec b for the conversion but couldn't get financed for the amount, so now I'm trying for that '05 GT.
  11. I'm in the process of buying an '05 Subaru legacy GT with the intentions of upgrading the car with the S402 parts, will everything be compatible on this car?
