  1. To summarize: 1. Honda Civic tail lights 2. Atrocious rear bumper situation 3. Wheel arch cladding that can't be had body color 4. Engine displacement is 20% higher ( 2.4 vs 2.0 L), but only 3 more HP (271 vs 268) 5. Torque remains the same at 258 ft-lbs (277 ft-lb in Ascent) 6. Adaptive dampers and drive mode selection only available on top CVT 'GT' (blasphemy) models. Not on 6MT. 7.Toyoti/Hondification of Subaru complete!
  2. Baboon "butt" rear bumper? A wicked head scratcher.....
  3. 1.1% greater HP from 20% higher displacement?

  5. Ladies and Gentlemen, More spare 'stuff: 1. Fel-Pro 35562 T 'Water Gasket' - Used as a more robust replacement for the Turbo to TMIC gasket. Needed if you're trying to kill a boost leak. I never installed it, just read on here somewhere this would work. *$10 shipped to conUS* 2. Center HVAC Vents. These replacements if your cubby vents are jacked up. *$30 shiped to conUS* All prices are 'out the door' to US.
  6. The biggest difference was the reduction in rasp and low RPM volume. It was still loud enough when I got on the gas, hence, I was going to weld in this second one. Overall, I would say the tone was a bit more 'mature'. There's a time and place for loud exhaust. I was passed it. My mechanic removed the glass packed, and welded in the Vibrant in under an hour. I don't know too much about welding, but it held solidly for 3 years. No issues.
  7. VAdanno: Sorry, missed your message. Hard to see you w/o the avatar. I had the same Vibrant resonator welded into a Q300 on my 5MT wagon. The length is exactly the same as the Q300's glass packed bottle resonator. It was easy. Just cut and weld in the vibrant. Keep it level and horizontal. I had no problems at all 3 years.
