    I was gonna attempt dyeing using a rit dye for synthetics (I was guessing it was polyester thread) but my gf had a fabric dye pen on hand that worked wonders, way easier to be precise with it that way too. Hasn’t been handled too much since I dyed it but the color took to it real well

    Hey y'all! Got this steering wheel in from Japan not too long ago and wanted to try my hand at refurbishing it a bit. Leather was originally a bit worn & dry from use & the stitching was definitely a bit sun faded when I got it. After refreshing the leather a bit and re-dying the threads I think it's looking pretty nice, so now I'm putting it up for sale! I'm asking $400 shipped + paypal G&S fees obo K2Gear Steering Wheel with Red Stitching Comes with airbag cover (no airbag charge) and sport shift buttons. Direct fit for 2005-2007 Legacies (Pre-facelift), will fit 2008-2009 Legacies with wiring modifications. Will also fit other Subaru models in similar model years. This style of steering wheel allows for direct plug & play and retention of the factory airbag. The one problem area I would say is there's a nick in the upper right hand corner but it is fairly small and unnoticeable, overall I'd give it an 8/10 condition! Comment or PM with any questions!     Ahh I see, that blue binding is a bit more grey & muted than I had imagined. Autostyle's carpet is also a bit thicker and plushier looking than the loomed carpet type

    Good question, the OEM mats were no longer with the car when I bought it so I'm not sure what they look like but these ones are good quality for aftermarket (they also supply oem mats for certain manufacturers). Personally not sure of any good sources for exact copies but you could probably customize something on autostyle to replicate them closely. I chose the premier style when customizing which come with the leatherette binding by default. You may want to confirm this but I believe the "diplomat" lineup comes with the carpet binding that would more closely match the oem style. This is the diplomat with black carpet and navy binding, not sure how closely the navy matches but royal blue will definitely be too bright. Cheers, Justin

    Got something here for any of you Spec B lovers Just received these customized floor mats from UK. They are LHD, fit great, and very nice quality with royal blue carpet & a thick black backing, grey binding and metal heel pads. The carpet color didn't end up matching my 07's seats as well as I was hoping (they are a bit overdue for a dye I'll admit), so I'm sending them back out into the world. My hunch is that the blue would match the sti blue a bit better, but I'm not planning on going that route for my own seats. Bought shipped for $180, asking $120 + PayPal G/S fees & shipping

    True^^ @Tschagfreebird151 I got mine new off japanparts after a little bit of lead time but I've also heard the chinese replicas fit well if you're willing to settle for a set of those (the ones shown in post #6 are reps). Definitely will help alleviate the sticker shock a bit, I just wasn't willing to settle Thanks for all the kind words everybody, I'll make sure to keep this thread alive

    Finally posted my interior bits for y'all another long run of info lol. Also pulled some pics off the 2001 camera from our Puget Sound trip. Got a pretty cool photo opportunity when we were placed alone in the rear of the ferry. Unfortunately the small CF card gave us only a few shots, obviously still learning how to use it too

    Yeah that’s the one thing about the z/s single is that it doesn’t have the angled exit. Would love to see how it turns out!

    Well it suits your name Lone wolf I must admit I appreciate the balanced appearance of the dual but I can't help but want to be different than the norm either I'm quite excited to get the car lowered a smidge tho, the offset single exit should look pretty mean then
