  1. You are exactly right but I'm sure I will be fighting them on this issue.
  2. About to bring my 05 Outback XT in for the wheel bearing replacement and notified them of the fan running all the time as well. Computer shows no open recall on this since the previous owner had the relay replaced. Now with the fans running all the time its quite obvious the first replacement relay has gone bad again and now caused the computer to be damaged. I will be very vocal about getting this replaced again(Im just over 80,000 miles) once they diagnose/confirm the problem on Monday. If rejected I will be recording a nice YouTube video on the issue and posting it on every forum I can find as well as on Twitter. I just will not take no for an answer for a recalled part that has failed again and no damaged the computer. This could get interesting and quite enjoyable. I'll post the results of my dealer visit next week. In the meantime has anyone else been able to get Subaru to replace the parts twice??
  3. I found the ACT for $230 locally and the stock flywheel is allot more expensive. I wouldn't mind the faster spooling of the turbo, had a lightened flywheel in a 240Z and it made a huge difference in that car. I will be losing some low rpm driveability with this flywheel from what I read, any other downfalls? I have 75000 miles on the car so that's the reason i'm wanting to replace the flywheel, plus using a WRX clutch should be a stronger setup then the stock one since that's the same as a non turbo car. Can someone confirm this for me please. The 2006 WRX clutch setup with flywheel and new bolts will fit my 2005 Outback XT? ANY input would be GREATLY appreciated. Sent from my HTC ThunderBolt using Tapatalk
  4. I have a 2005 Legacy Outback XT that I am trying to find a decent clutch setup for. Im on a tight budget as my kids come first and Xmas is coming so the timing for me really sucks. If I am researching correctly a 2006 WRX setup will work on my 2005 XT: If so is this a reasonable setup, my only power mods are a custom tune via a 1st Gen Accessport. Exedy FJK1001 clutch kit ACT 600480 Streetlight flywheel new flywheel bolts(should these be for a stock 2006 WRX??) new throwout bearing clips Any input would be GREATLY appreciated as I plan on replacing it next weekend.
  5. Exactly what I am looking to do and then kill my Sirius subscription.
  6. Just ordered my Stage 1 map today from them: http://www.tuningalliance.com/productDetails.php?id=13612
  7. You might have seen the tail lights of my Outback XT in North Jersey
  8. Is the grill still available? Would you ship it to 07438.

    thanks,

    Todd

  9. Hi Todd, the '97 outback is running pretty well, just got the tires sealed yesterday. A few misfires but never feel it, was searching a long post on USMB when it crashed...so here I am. thanks again, mike in MD
  10. Blue LGT pulled over by Johnny Law around 2:30 on rt23 north yesterday, headed back into Butler after the stop....did he just give you a warning?
  11. I have a 6 piece set like this http://www.autotoys.com/x/product.php?productid=10003 which is useful since there are different shapes and sizes included and they are plastic. I haven't removed my door panels yet but have bought speakers so I don't know the best tool yet, a panel popper like you have might be fine.
  12. Sure it's feasible, I wouldn't rush anything though and plan on a good long afternoon. You can have the seats out in under a half hour but take your time with the door panels, make sure you have the right tools not a flat screwdriver. The tools are not expensive and both of you can chip in, if you can't find them locally order them from Eastwood.com or a similar source. The time you take will be well spent on the quality of the job and you will notice everyday if you rushed something and scratched or ripped a panel.
  13. Do you know if LGT seats are the same as Outback XT's? Can you post or e-mail me some pictures to FSRBIKER@Optonline.net
