  1. I mean, there is a reason why I don't have one... hahaha I'll probably fab up something similar with the welder this summer if I get a break from work and feel like welding in 90-degree weather.
  2. You just have to cut the corners of the front crash bar to fit a pre-facelift JDM bumper. I have a post from ~2019 with a picture of how much in the "what did you do to your 4th gen" that I'll try to find.
  3. Yes, if you are super careful you can get close to what it was (sharpie on the bolts); but I wouldn't drive a long time without getting a proper alignment.
  4. Did you see these? https://get-primitive.com/product/struts-shocks/kyb-struts-and-shocks/kyb-excel-ggr-2-2000-2004-legacy/ https://www.summitracing.com/search/brand/kyb-shocks-struts/part-type/shocks-and-struts/year/2001/make/subaru/model/legacy There is a front set on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/KYB-334273-Excel-G-Gas-Strut/dp/B000C40RWK https://www.amazon.com/KYB-334274-Excel-G-Gas-Strut/dp/B000C3ZCLW Rears on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/KYB-341275-Excel-G-Gas-Strut/dp/B000C40S42/ Hopefully that helps.
  5. Where are you located? Those look like headlight washer/sprayers.
  6. Good catch, onward! When I got all "f" it was the connection on the clamp, I would try a few ever so slightly different positions, it's not easy sometimes to get it just perfectly aligned to touch all the pins.
  7. Have you tested to see if the clamp is maybe 180 degrees off? Maybe it just needs to be flipped. Or you might need to slow it down a little more, things are even faster than when I first did it. Sorry, hard to troubleshoot from over here...
  8. Have you tried reseating the clamp on the eeprom? Sometimes that does it.
  9. I have the rails, however, the front part of the passenger rail is a little damaged from removal as the plastic around the threaded studs broke from age. I can send pictures if interested. Here is a picture of the front strut bar.
  10. Those bolts are 8.8 approx 4" long and 12mm or .46" in diameter. Thread pitch doesn't really matter, just need to match the nut.
  11. I think the thermostat opens at 180 or 190, the fans should kick on at 205 unless the A/C is on. (If I remember right) A bad signal from a coolant temp sensor will cause all sorts of issues.
  12. Looks like the person two posts before you got it working with the CH341A, so it should be feasible.
