  1. ABS sensor? Seems to be the only thing I can think of that you haven't changed! I've read where guys have removed the ABS fuse just to see if the shaking goes away, but be careful because the brakes will not work as well.
  2. Greetings, So, I have installed the LGT Spec-B front bumper on my 2007 2.5i wagon. Though the car did not come with fog lights originally, the wire harness for the fog lights on the 2.5i was there, but just taped up and out of the way from the factory. I have installed the factory switch/turn signal assembly and was hoping that might be all I needed to do, but there is no power at the plugs on the harness. Anyone have any insight into what else I may be missing for the conversion? I have not really investigated deeply yet. TIA! -JH[emoji1365] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Been seeing a white Gen 4 GT wagon in Tuolumne,CA. Almost my clone. Last spotting was on Cherokee going opposite directions with a wave.
  4. Well I answered my own question pretty quickly when I got a good look today. The wires and plugs at the fuse box don’t even match up. I ended up doing what most guys do, I suppose. I used the two pin plug for the turn signals and DRLs, splicing the JDM connectors to the cars harness. I spliced the USDM connector to the rest of the JDM headlight harness. All of the tutorials I could find must have been for other years as most of the wire colors in them did not match mine. Only one mistake was made (hooking the DRL and signal up backward on the driver side), but it was quickly fixed. The lip is pretty beat up, the paint mismatch is gonna wear on me pretty soon I think, she needs a bath and I need some new clips in a few spots, but I’ll be driving her to work tomorrow! 5. Greetings, I've had my car at the body shop for way too long and they finally started working on it last week. Since I had my front clip delivered to them, they were going to give it a go. The guy they had working on it got the hood and right fender on and swapped the beam from the clip. Then they called and said the parts just weren't lining up. The paint isn't a good match, but I can live with it for now. This is a pic they sent... It looked alright to me but it turns out they were trying to use my existing lower mounts and hadn't trimmed the plastics. I politely paid them for their time and brought my car home, and now I'm finishing the job. I got the plastics trimmed and front bumper cover and lights all fitted today and then pulled most of it back off to deal with wiring the lights, which I'll do tomorrow. I started stripping the rest of the parts off of the clip and realized, "Hey... I have the entire harness from the fuse box forward!" Then I got to wondering, How hard could it be, and would swapping the harness even work? I don't think I've read of anyone doing it here. I assume it would be more work than it's worth, but I have to at least ask... have any of you guys done it? Thanks, -JH
  6. No, mine is fine... but I want the GT hood with scoop. Looks like I should be able to get the ding out without painting.
  7. Goin' in! I was just about to pull the trigger on springs and struts when this happened... So, I pulled the trigger on this instead... I know it's been on eBay for a bit, so I hope all is good. Small ding and scratch on the hood but it's the right color! Gonna have to get the springs for sure now! Will post pics when done.
  8. I was in a minor fender bender a few weeks ago, and need to replace my front bumper/grille/headlights/etc. figured I may as well do the JDM swap since they all need replacing. It's a 2007 BP. I have a front clip in mind, and I've read through almost all of this thread regarding what will be involved. I may have missed it, but I have not seen any mention about airbag equipment. Would there be anything I need to be concerned about? TIA, -Jeff
  9. About 3 weeks ago... How a Rush fan turns "The Big 3-0-0"! http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s106/hurricaneFro/subaru/image_zpssjoenkdt.jpg '97 5MT GTW. Original engine, never rebuilt. Just had to replace the trans 4k ago. Peace, -Jeff
