  1. Thanks for the feedback guys. I looked over several online reviews and youtube clips and I'm feeling pretty confident in the x-ice line. One of the selling points for me was greater traction on ice and mileage warranty as you mentioned Be safe everyone
  2. Oh man... Maybe I shoulda bought blizzaks instead of Michelin x-ice xi3 Anyone have experience with x-ice xi3s?
  3. The API cost around 110... Genuine Subaru is around 240. I think it's definitely worth going Subaru OEM. New genuine mufflers are also around 220ish per side. Which might also be very well worth it, at least for longevity and the quiet.
  4. Ive got an API Y-pipe connected to Turbo XS axlebacks after everything rusted out. The aftermarket Y-pipe is noticeably louder around what I think is the resonator. Not exactly a nice sound but the TurboXS cans make up for it
  5. Starter on mine makes a nasty noise on a really cold start. Wondering if cleaning would remedy it. What kind of noise does yours make? Mine is a bit of a brief grinding... But it's been doing that for nearly 5 years now lol This forum is awesome
  6. I don't know about loudest but I just got TurboXS axlebacks on my 3.0R and they sound amazing. Straight pipes would be crazy lol
  7. Does your fuel pump prime as usual when trying to start the motor? I had a fuel pump crap out on me a few months ago and left me stranded. Bad fuel pump coupled with a bad MAF sensor
  8. Got mine fixed yesterday and turns out my strut and strut mount were shot. Pot hole I hit a while back really did some damage New Bilstein b6's feel so nice. Rockauto has them for around 200 if anyone is looking
  9. Maybe he bought the 3.0R and he's having too much fun to post
  10. There used to be meets up in Edgewater (by the GW bridge) but that was years ago.
  11. Got my Bilstein b6's installed with the kyb #sm5806 strut mounts today. So far so good! Car feels brand new again. No more annoying clunking!
  12. I needed the specB strut mounts.. and if I'm not mistaken the OEMs were over $100 each last time I checked. Either way I'm having the kyb#sm5806 mounts installed with new Bilstein b6 assemblies tomorrow so we'll see how they work out
