I say Texas roads are bad, but it’s really the county and where at in Texas you are. From my experience, being west of north central Texas, it’s primarily sandy/sedimentary. When they place down roads where I’m at, no matter how perfect the road has been paved, and it rains, that rain water gets trapped under the pavement and the amount of potholes in my town outnumber the population tenfold. Then the county/city doesn’t want to do anything about the roads so that’s great. Every state has its shit roads, some worse that others, but nonetheless. I know some roads in Louisiana make ours feel like the salt beds in Utah.
