  1. I'd love to see some new compression/leakdown test results! I've been holding out for an '09, but good grief those only seem to pop up once in a blue moon. This OBXT checks every other box I have. Looks like a solid build. OP, I'll shoot you a PM.
  2. ^ That's awesome! I'm way behind on current games, which is great really as I just buy "old" used games from Gamestop for way less than $60. Recently I've played through Horizon Zero Dawn and Spider-man, both excellent games. HZD was definitely more impressive. Also played the newest God of War, that's pretty great too. Just picked up Witcher 3 and wow...this game is huge, immersive. Can't wait to get further into it. The one game I've really been looking forward to is Beyond Good and Evil 2. Looks awesome.
  3. Headed to the Firestone Walker Invitational on Saturday...Stoked! Last year was pretty overwhelming, but pretty awesome. Bringin' my A game this time
  4. Well we are officially homeowners again. Bought a house in Paso Robles after living in a rental for ~1 yr, just moved this weekend. Nothing too crazy, just a decent sized home in a good neighborhood. It's mostly turn-key - all rooms have been renovated within the last 5 years, as well as new heater, A/C, water heater, ducting/insulation, plumbing, and dry rot repair. Had to paint 2 bedrooms that were pink and violet, but that's about it. Totally move in ready. I can't even put into words how appreciative I am of the excellent maintenance by the previous. Pride of ownership is obvious to say the least. The last patriarch of the house was an industrial plumber/HVAC guy, which also shows. Of course, there are a few little things. Gonna do a reclaimed wood accent wall in the family room, white wash (not paint) all the brick, I'd love to do a forest mural on one wall in the master bedroom, and plant some fruit trees. Shed could use a new roof soon. And wall mounting the flat screen and tucking cables in the wall - that's mostly done. A few pics (before we moved in):
  5. Spotted another Spec.B yesterday! In Berkeley, heading west on Gilman street, aftermarket exhaust. I'm in a loaner XV Crosstrek so I doubt they noticed me, but I threw 'em the horns anyhow. Man I want my car back :/
  6. No custom matte finish or stars, but does have some pretty sweet body work on the rear driver-side door http://i68.tinypic.com/2h6rm6h.jpg
  7. Caught a fellow 07 Spec.B getting onto 80 W at Ashby last week. Drove right by me as I was merging, don't think they saw me though.
  8. Spotted a fellow spec b on 680 north right around dublin. 08 I think, no visual mods other than a roof rack. Got a wave from driver and passenger. Very clean car!
  9. Silver 4th gen wagon, slightly lowered (?), roof rack, super clean. Spotted on Gilman St in Berkeley. Gave 'em the wave, not sure if they saw/waved back.
  10. Spotted a silver 4th gen GT sedan with black wheels and modified exhaust turning onto University ave in Berkeley on Friday
  11. ^So lower front and rear, then raise rear with saggy butt spacers to level out. Seems like what a lot of folks are doing. I was hoping there would be some springs with a close enough spring rate to stock Spec B springs but slightly shorter so that I could just swap out the front springs. Are STi pinks really close to stock Spec B spring rates? What is the stock Spec B spring rate?
  12. 2007 Spec B - looking to lower my front end about .5-.75" and would like to keep the rear height and ride as close to stock as possible. I just want to even out the wheel/arch gaps between front and rear, and would rather lower the front than add saggy butt spacers to the rear. Any recommendations?
  13. Lego is looking awesome. Loved the Top Scoob Lego and the Fozzy, can't wait to see how this turns out. YES.
