I checked out my passenger side banjo bolt filter tonight and it was basically 99% clean. I have 81k on my car, semi-synthetic from when I bought it at 27k to about 60k when I switched over to full synthetic. 4-5k OCI Seems to me that everybody that actually changes their oil is not having any problems?? I had planned on taking the filter out completely but after seeing how clean it was I sprayed it out with brake cleaner and reinstalled it. I'm definitely relieved to know that it's not all plugged up but it doesn't seem that there are any consistent problems according to this thread...
