  1. For my non sporty cars, I'm standardizing on Michelin CrossClimate2 tires.
  2. I like the AS4s for the performance and handling. They did okay this past winter but I think the CrossClimate2s would be a better fit for winter in Ohio. I live and work in the snow belt, I've been doing dedicated winter setups for the past few cars but not my current. Also the CC2s were going to be 10mm wider for my car which is what I wanted. lol. CC2s I wanted were 235/45/19. Factory size (and the AS4S) were 225/45/19.
  3. For big things, your local dealership is probably cheaper because of shipping costs. I ordered a hood insulation panel for my kid's car and the dealership was cheaper by $50!
  4. CrossClimate2s are perfect! They were on sale just before winter but of course my size wasn't in so I ended up with the Pilot All Season 4s. Great tire but more sporty than I would've liked. Sticking with CrossClimate2s for all future purchases. Waiting for the next sale to get a set for my daughter's Impreza. Not going to do the winter/summer tire switchover anymore.
  5. The morimoto2stroke fans some heat back into the headlight assembly to take care of that. But they are around $200
  6. My 3.6 had the Hids. But for my daughter’s Impreza with base halogens I stuck some beamtech leds in and they work great. Until she hit a snow storm and the ice wasn’t melting. Switching her to morimoto2stroke leds before winter to solve that issue.
  7. looks like an ebook. so only black and white? maybe it can scroll pictures? trust me, cops won't lose it during a chase. it's not that fast and that ugly grill stands out. lol. my current bmws will probably be my last because I cannot stand the new grills.
  8. any aftermarket accessories? are you using a duplicated key?
  9. My Legacy came with HIDs so I never bothered to do anything with them. For the inside little lights, I just switched to LEDs with no issues. If you don't have the HIDs and have halogens, I'd recommend Morimoto2stroke 3.0 headlight replacements. I got those for my daughter's Impreza. Solved the issue of cheap LEDs not putting heat out to melt ice/snow. I can't remember where I got firmware and nav updates from but it was free and self done. I got rid of my Legacy in '18 at under 80k miles so I haven't really kept up.
  10. Goodyears are good for one year. If you’re not going to get a dedicated set for winter, look into all weather tires like the Michelin CrossClimate2s.
  11. not related to your exhaust. how old is your battery? how old are your spark plugs? you seem to have a lot of problems with your Legacy. How many miles on it now? Mine was relatively trouble free when I traded it in at almost 72k miles. I replaced the original battery at 71,232 miles. Then traded the car in two weeks later. lol. I was about to order plugs at that time too. Rear brakes went at 54k and front brakes at 67k. Cheap if you do it yourself.
  12. Grips arrived. Ready to surprise my son for his 15th birthday at the end of the month. For those that don't know, it's from the Resident Evil video games. Not an exact replica but in the style of Chris Redfield. Lots of different things went into this one. My old Brig modified with: Slide engraving and coating by Middlebranch Machine. G decoker with right side delete by WAL. Barrel in CPII by CCR. NP3 trigger and Optimized Trigger Bar from LTT. Elite hammer and extended mag release from Beretta. Grips by Collector Design Works. I have grips coming from DS Grips as well. Working on another Beretta for those.
  13. Wow! Did you get the updated programming and a bigger battery last time?
  14. My son's 15th birthday present is coming along. Slide just got back yesterday. Waiting on the grips and barrel. For now I stuck my old threaded barrel in it just to look at the slide.
