  1. This is a long shot but after closer inspection of a leak on my rear diff it’s apparent that the cover was damaged by someone over tightening the drain plug. There are cracks all around it. The leak is from the side seals, but I’d like to replace the cover. Ive submitted a request to car-part.com but I don’t have high hopes. The dealer couldn’t find one. This is for a 1990 Legacy Wagon AWD Anyone have one lying around?
  2. Bah.. the snowflakes sold to someone else. I’ll keep looking. Something will pop up.
  3. Not a bad idea. I had the windshield replaced today and that looks great. Tinting the windows Friday, and hopefully some newer Subaru snowflake wheels.
  4. I agree that the square cut spokes speak to the body language. But you go with what’s available. There are some snowflakes for sale locally for $125. With tires. Seems a steal! I think I’ll go with those.
  5. Mainly sentimental. And why would it need upgrades or modifications just cause it's an older model. I can maintain it and it will run for many more years.
  6. I have this new-to-me 1990 Legacy and the hubcaps are the worst part of the entire car. Which wheels fit well on these wagons? I'd like to have a set of Subaru wheels on it. https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/1990-legacy-278550.html
  7. I am getting this cherry 1990 legacy this weekend. It's being shipped across the country to my home. Milage: 55000 original miles. (original owner is my own grandmother) Model: Legacy Wagon, AWD, 4-wheel disc 2.0L boxer Prior to shipment the rear tire went flat due to a bad stem. The spare is on it at the moment. The rear diff seems to be leaking, the windshield is cracked, and the timing belt has never been done. Other than that, everything works and it's in PERFECT shape.
