  1. Good news. I was able to adjust high beams with the 4mm stud adjuster on the other side. Fyi for eagle eyes lights
  2. As if they got bored and dropped it off. Tires look new on them. Carfax is clean too lol (pulled it up with my uncles dealer account). Someone go save it before too much is gone!
  3. Came across a fresh looking 08 gt at a Miami lkq yard. Just put out today https://www.lkqpickyourpart.com/locations/LKQ_Pick_Your_Part_-_Ft._Lauderdale-198/recents/2008-subaru-legacy/
  4. Installed headlights, fogs and switch... I didn’t realize the combination stalk was for an outback, so now I have rear wiper motor switch too lol. Maybe I can wire up something cool down the road.
  5. Got them installed. Install wasn’t easy. Passenger side was giving me trouble bc the housing was bumping up against the upper support. They sure look nice. I’m having trouble adjusting the high beams. The screws don’t do anything. They’re way off and pointing down. Anyone know the trick? I think I need to aim the low beams a tad lower as well. (High beams are the light spots in front of the car) https://i.imgur.com/CoSNuwA.jpg
  6. Nice I think that’s the approach I’ll do. How do you keep the u bars on?
  7. I would've wrapped the bolt threads with plumbers tape and then some jb weld (or this https://www.amazon.com/MASTERCOOL-90934-Alum-Repair-Epoxy/dp/B00AZJTEAS/ref=asc_df_B00AZJTEAS/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312148135388&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12975232972507960263&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9011806&hvtargid=pla-526872972600&psc=1). This way you can 'fix' the internal threading once you tighten and let it hardened.
  8. did you have any issues with the drl using high beam led?
  9. Just got my set. Waiting on protection film to come in. Has anyone else added preventative wear and tear protection. Quality looks great but you know... aftermarket plastic. Also the high beams are H1 style, not oe 9005
  10. Has anyone ran LEDs in these yet. Curious on light pattern/ cutoff. My order is coming in next week. I’m looking into LEDs (I’m tired of burnt out hids)
  11. Sorry, I should add, my top hats are fine. In fact they're relatively new and oem. When I took my strut out, you could move the koni insert laterally in the strut and even twist it around by hand (even when the bottom bolt is tighten). upon inspection, the nubs were pretty flat too. I sent concerns over to koni but they said it looked normal. It could've been a one off case, but it happened to both sides a few months apart. Actually, you can see my post here about the whole thing, it was last year lol. https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/did-you-do-your-5th-gen-todayii-v4-267765p121.html
  12. Fyi, I've had this setup for 5+ years using kyb struts. In my experience, the inserts started to rattle 'side to side' because the 3 nubs would flatten out overtime. I think this was because the kyb circumference is just ever slightly too large (but not enough to use the included spacer). So the inserts are snug initially and you wouldn't know until a few years of use. Adding a .41mm brass ribbon as a spacer from Ace hardware fixed that. ...and now I'm chasing another light clunk noise on the right side
  13. bought all this; Mustang led fogs bezels Anzo lookalike headlights working on finding some good led lowbeam bulbs, probably fanless one and some film to protect everything. https://www.ebay.com/itm/284273338353?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2648 https://www.ebay.com/itm/383961408151?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2648 https://www.ebay.com/itm/141794423589?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2648 https://www.ebay.com/itm/131473714337?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2648
  14. Today, I installed Moog inner and outer rods. steering boots were annoying to remove. I used a long thin pry bar to pop the inner worm clamps, then replaced them with screw type. The engine cradle made it hard to easily access. Had to cut off the driver side rod too. I was expecting having to remove a washer and pin like other Subaru forums mentioned, but didn’t have those. Just used the autozone tool to remove the inner rod, worked like a charm. Greased up the boots and sway bar bushings too. Best part, I think the alignment is better than before and I haven’t gone in yet to get it checked. https://i.imgur.com/gD7CP6z.jpg https://i.imgur.com/QGoRkBb.jpg
