  1. Huzzit. Any chance you still making L7 overlays? Need one for a jdm option hatch spoiler. Not sure if it’s a different size from the stock Usdm
  2. Late reply, sorry. I'm just using a Creation PCUT right now
  3. Brendan,

what machine are you using for the sick ass vinyls your cutting?

    SCot

  4. The dash light will be on if the overhead unit has a problem, so this should fix both.
  5. The resolder job on the map light console should be a permanent fix, they just went light on the solder from the factory so it should be a one time thing.
  6. It's always a good idea to disconnect the battery when working with anything electrical, that being said I didn't but I like to live dangerously. The circuit board is removable, you need to take all 4 screws out and disconnect the gray plug going to it and it'll be free. I certainly wouldn't want to solder it in the car, I don't like to live that dangerously It would be nice to have a fine tipped soldering iron, but I just used a normal one and it worked OK. I'm no pro at soldering either so I wouldn't worry too much about it, just keep the solder off the board to the best of your abilities and it'll work fine.
  7. It's pretty easy to get out/back in, just screws holding it in place. I'll try to eplain it from memory: You pry off the clear plastic piece that covers the bulbs, then you'll see a screw on each side towards the front of the car. Take those out and you'll be able to pry off the assembly. There are 2 more screws holding a cover for the board in place, remove those and the board will be free, then you just unplg the gray connector and you can take it out. Hope that helps!
  8. Finally took the circuit board out, add me to the list of problem fixed! I'm sure it was the 511 resistor but I touched all of them up since I had it out and so far so good. It really isn't hard to do, I didn't take any pics because once you look at it it's really straight-forward.
  9. I didn't either, but the wheel cleaner is good enough that it's worth it
  10. ^^Our local Costco has a 4 pack of wheel cleaner/tire shine (3 tire shine, 1 wheel cleaner) and that stuff works extrermely well, might be worth checking out!
  11. You look kind of stoned in your profile photo
  12. L for Legacy, 7 referring to the Pleiades star cluster the subaru logo is based on (7 sisters, Subaru is the Japanese name for Pleiades IIRC)
  13. Sounds like intereference caused by the antenna to me
  14. I haven't tried it yet, but that's good news! Might need to give it a shot soon.
