  1. I use a headphone splitter and have a second device connected to the other line. When connecting the satellite by itself, it doesn't work regardless of the auto or on setting.
  2. I didn't think of that. The jack just says "audio." If it's running like a line out, what can I do to compensate?
  3. I've loved this great product and got one from the second batch ever made. However, I've always had one issue that maybe someone might have an idea to help. When I plug in an iPod or smartphone directly, everything works great. When I plug my satellite radio directly, it doesn't want to play. I have a jury-rigged setup to get things to work, but it's not optimal, and I'd really rather it worked in a more straightforward manner (plug in directly and done!) So I was wondering if perhaps the signal sent from the satellite unit is weaker than that of an iPod? I can't otherwise fathom what's wrong. Ideas?
  4. I think to cover your bases, you need to ask guys to pre-order. However, as far as our models being old farts... I think more people are willing to modify older cars rather than brand new ones. The market may still exist, even if orders slow down. Good luck Sebastien. My board was from your second round of production, and it's been great!
  5. Hmmm... That's a darn shame. We've had my wife's XT since it had 5k miles on the ticker (dealer driven). Ever since we bought it, I've always user Mobil 1 and changed the oil every 5,000 miles (I think twice I've changed at roughly 10,000 miles). My wife is a "spirited" driver, so the turbo gets a workout, but we've never had any issues. It's still pulling strong at ~92,000 miles. Well, good luck with your new Subie. VT is a great place to own one!
  6. No. When you stop the music from playing the board will kick back to radio functions in approximately 30 seconds.
  7. I have a friend interested in ordering one. She's really impressed with the ingenuity behind it and saw the clean install in my Subie. I hope you will be making enough units, Sebastien!
  8. Do you have the auto or manual climate controls? If you have the manual controls, you're better off getting a new bezel and new aftermarket radio. Then the world is your oyster! If you have the auto climate controls, post the model number of your radio to be sure.
  9. I have been using Sebastien's aux-in board for several months now. It works like a charm! Initially I wanted to use a splitter so I could have both sat radio and ipod plugged in and just switch between them. That hasn't worked out because the splitter I am using is for headphones, so something isn't right. Also, I wanted to have the ipod plugged in and charging at the same time. However, using just one source at a time works great, and I've been listening mostly to sat radio lately anyway. This is a great piece of tech! Nice work!
  10. I got mine last Saturday, but I didn't have time to do anything with it yet. I'll chime in with a review once it's in. Thanks Sebastien!
  11. Much appreciated, Sebastien. I am looking forward to hooking up satellite radio through this marvelous piece of technology you've created!
  12. Has this shipment been sent out yet?
  13. Put me down for 1, please!
  14. This really isn't the appropriate thread for this discussion, but I will give you one last tip that I found on the other board concerning this. Put a fuse in the FWD fuse holder under the hood if you are experiencing torque bind. If the binding goes away, the duty-c is fine. If not, that's most likely the root of the problem.
