  1. I have a 94 legacy L wagon, the shifter has a lot of slop in it. When putting the car into gear it is hard to tell which gear is selected.
  2. From my experience with EJ motors there really isn’t anything above the oil filter that could leak. So make sure the filter is tight and hopefully that should fix it! \’’—o—‘’/
  3. You should be able to identify if it is a Rev-D by the VIN plate BH5(A) B C or D \’’—o—‘’/
  4. This is the legacy photos page. What is the model and year of the car in question? Let me know and I will try to get you an answer.
  5. I would check any codes (it present) from there my first thought would be fuel pump. It cranks just fine, so timing should be okay. (Wouldn’t hurt to double check though) from there you can narrow it down. As you probably know, motors need air fuel and spark to run, while there can be other things, it is probably a lack of fuel causing your issue. I had the same thing happen to one or my vehicles. Cheers!
  6. Good catch, totally forgot about the belts on EJ motors! Yup, that’s a motor.
  7. Hey Reloadit! If the car is running good you should be in the clear, headgaskets were the killers on these cars and I don't think you will run into that if you run into that if you just drive her easy. To save yourself the hastle of repacking grease and redoing CV boots, I would recommend replacing the whole axle. I ran into that exact issue on my previous 05 OB 3.0R. Grease from the inner CVs was leaking onto the cats causing a burning. I replaced both of the axles as a whole. It seems pricy at first but usually NAPA can give you a decent price. Just make sure you bring back your cores! However if you are pressed for paper, you can totally just do the boots, but I would do both sides to make life easier down the road. For tires, heres kinda my top picks. 1. General Grabber AT2 I had these on my 2005 Outback and they killed it in the snow and were pretty easy going. They were also silent and rode great on the road. 2. Yokohama Avid series Not very off-roady but still great in the snow, dirt and anything you throw at them. 3. Bridgestone Blizzak Yes, it's a winter tire but they do great on dirt from what people have told me, pretty affordable too. Also can't go wrong with a bridgestone dualer. (coming from a tire tech) As for the tire pressure, I would run maybe 33-34 during the colder months but during the summer anywhere from 31-32 is gonna be your best bet! Cheers!
  8. So suspension stuff has slowly been rolling in, here is a general outline of my suspension build. -KYB front and rear struts from the 2004 Legacy L *wagon* -KYB Suspension mounts for the rear, Cheaper brand OEM mounts for the front. -H&R Lowering Springs. -Whiteline Rear Camber Bushings. Which brings us to brakes. -Powerstop rotors on all 4 corners. -EBC Pads
  9. Get-Jpn is always a good one, not a whole lot of Subaru stuff on there tho [emoji106] Yup, that’s a motor.
  10. Gotcha, where did you nab the front end from then? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Holy cow has it been a while! Completely rebuilt my H6 and tore it down completely. She’s been a champ and holding up good. Used a thrush 2 chamber to make an exhaust up with and sounds great! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Good lord that looks beautiful! where can I get my hands on one of those Lancaster grilles!
  13. I welded a thrush two chamber onto my H6 stock exhaust and it sounds beautiful!
  14. Alright so here’s some pictures from a while back of me pulling the EZ30 out of this bad boy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
