  1. This started about 2 weeks ago. Initially it just wouldn't crank over, I would give it a few seconds, try again and it would start no problem. Then a couple times it wouldn't run after giving it time, I was able to pop start it (god bless manual transmissions!). Then last weekend it started throwing codes for cam bank 1 position sensor, cam bank 2 position sensor, and crank position sensor, but I was able to pop start it once more and made it work that day. Now to the real weirdness. I could pop start it and it would run for a few seconds before all the lights would dim as the revs died out. Had AAA come out and put a new battery in, as the factory one was still in it at 160,000~ miles. With the new battery, and after tapping the starter a few times while cranking, it started and idled fine in neutral for a solid 10 minutes. AAA guy leaves, I step on the clutch and put it in gear and it dim-dies again. Now it's throwing a P0600 - "CAN or SERIAL - Improper Communication Link" code. It will either not crank (can hear the starter clicking), crank and not run, or start and not idle, depending on its mood now. I can get it to run and idle if I reset the ECU or disconnect and reconnect the battery, but after a few minutes idling it throws the code and dies again. And while idling, if i put on a turn signal or run the hazards, the dash and all the lights will dim in time with the flashers. I've checked all the fuses, measured the voltage when it's running (14.5-14.7), checked every loom connection and ground i could find, but I'm firmly outside my depth when it comes to the electronics side of things. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! tl;dr - car threw cam and crank position sensor codes, then a can/serial improper connection code, turn signals dim all lights, won't idle for more than 5 seconds even with throttle at full, only cranks and idles after ecu reset.
