  1. You have great timing! I'm torn between H&R and Swift. How's the ride quality compared to stock? Do you know the height of your wheel wells or how much it dropped your car? Any additional info would be appreciated
  2. Interesting! Both were using the same FPR and rubber hose setup between rails?
  3. Is your setup in parallel or series? Do you have an studder/sumble in the 2-3k range?
  4. Yes, I ran those the past few seasons and they feel pretty close to all season tires. However, I wasn't impressed with their braking and steering control in true snow conditions. I previously had WS80s on my sentrs SE-R spec-v and loved them so I just picked up some WS90s for the legacy. They are supposed to have some stiffer tread blocks over the WS80, making them last an extra season. I opted to go with 205/50R17. It will be a bit narrower which is supposed to be better for snow and a bit taller for added cushion/protection. We'll see how it goes....
  5. I just went from 2010 enduro to 2015 trance sx (27.5). What a difference! I lost 20mm of travel in the rear but you would never know it. Maestro suspension is completely different than specialized fsr, very supple and better pedaling platform. I also would wait one more year, if possible. Try to get something 2014 or newer. And if you're looking to go 29er, im not sure giant is the way to go. The majority of their recent focus has been on 27.5 and I've read their first try at 29ers did not have the best feeling, geometry wise. Also the direct to consumer market is growing and offering some incredible value...
  6. Wheel brand/model: OZ Superturismo LM Wheel height/width: 18x8 Wheel offset: +48 Tire size: 225/40/18 Pirelli Camber F/R: approx 0 all around. toe 0* Lowered: Stock Height Modified Fenders: Nope Wheels/Tires are just about flush with rear fenders. They stick out a touch in the front of the front fender. Couldn't be happier with the setup. http://legacygt.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=2236&pictureid=10384 http://legacygt.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=2236&pictureid=10383
  7. Easier loading/unloading. The rack I use only touches the tires (1UP USA). if you have a muddy ride, the roof of your car stays clean. Better gas mileage on longer trips and reduce wind noise. http://legacygt.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=1863&pictureid=10304 http://legacygt.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=1863&pictureid=10303
  8. Are you opposed to going with a hitch style rack? I've made the switch and couldnt be happier
  9. Yeah, one of the benefits of FSR and 26" wheels. Giant sizing is a little bigger than other companies. At 5'9" I could have gone with either a small or medium. I opted for the medium and just recently put on a 35mm (stock length is 60mm) Easton Havoc stem. The new stem made a huge improvement.
  10. I have 5 rides on this and it's awesome. The part spec is pretty fantastic at its price point. I'm cleaning things much easier than on my old bike. Coming from a 2010 enduro and im still getting used to the bigger wheels and longer chainstay, though. http://ep1.pinkbike.org/p4pb11611245/p4pb11611245.jpg
