  1. Beyond what FLlgeacy said, you will need an IAG block, new turbo, and a bunch of other stuff. Its going to cost a LOT to get well past the 300whp range
  2. The braking power of the stock h6 calipers are more than plenty for pretty much everything. Get a good set of rotors, pads, and if youre so inclined a master cylinder brace, stainless steel lines, and DOT 4 fluid. I'm running centric premium rotors, stop tech pads, master cylinder brace and goodrich ss lines and the car has great bite, excellent stopping power and removed the squish. Now I wouldn't track with that setup but its absolutely fine for my raptor header 3.6r for everyday driving
  3. I upgraded my 2011 with nav to an android auto/apple car play headunit. Its 1000X better and so worth the cost.
  4. I think I only did 1/2 front, and 1/4 rear. But im also a 3.6r and i compensated the extra weight in the front by going a bit stiffer.
  5. This writeup is totally different on the forum, and the I do love this look but the homelink is nice (even if i have to use the repeater in my garage)
  6. aren't the goodrich braided lines made in the UK? You should be able to get a set of those
  7. No its fine to do it, the 13/14 struts are significantly better anyway and will work fine with the eibach springs. Koni is more a sport oriented setup so unless you have the money to burn or plan to autox, the kybs are great for a daily.
  8. Dumb question but are they gapped correctly? When you tune you often gap them differently for the power. The plugs shouldn't go at 7500, but half its normal life is pretty common in a boosted car thats been tuned or had engine modifications. I would swap plugs as others have said to see if its a specific cylinder. Its a headache but best to check on that first.
  9. http://www.xtremeracingtuning.com He's tuned a ton of 3.6Rs
  10. Get the 13/14 kyb, they are better dampened and will improve the ride quality. All top hats 10-14 are identical and yeah i got mine off rock auto. Look into sway bars. You can swap the 2013 front sway bar into the 12 (its a 26mm sway bar, vs your 23), and helps a lot. Also swap a 2015+ sti 20mm rear sway bar to keep the neutral driving dynamics but improve the float and the sway.
  11. Don't forget since youre doing springs you'll want new top hats. Please be aware that the konis are SLIGHTLY fatter than the OEM struts and the fronts will need drilled out a bit. Parts you'll want are as follows to make it clean 2 - 8010 1055Sport (Rear) 2 - 8610 1447Sport (Front) 1 - 339222 (KYB Front left DONOR strut) 1 - 339223 (KYB Front right DONOR strut) 2 - 20380AJ10A (front springs 2013 3.6R) 2 - 20330AJ10A (REAR springs 2013 3.6R) new top hats if you want another direction there are always coils from a bunch of companies. I recommend Gecko who has designed them specifically for fifth gen legacy/outback Off topic. You considered tuning that h6? The 3.6R has a lot of potential for power (not GT level but way more than the 2.5i)
  12. I did this in February of 2019. I cant find the thread right now but i had navigation with h/k. I had it installed by a pro but they said it was very straightforward with no splicing. I got a Kenwood DDX6706, I have the maestro rr so I have a coolant gauge and basically it works the same as stock. Everything from the steering wheel controls all the way to the usb hook up in the center. You can PM me and i'll send pics and info as I asked for a complete installation from the store.
  13. "Working" isnt the right description, $500 "transforms" is more apt. You get better power, better control and the trans is fixed. Not to mention if you start adding bolt ons you get a car that can beat a STi. (my cars crank is 330/375, the dyno had the wheel at 216/232 which a 17 sti dynod 215/205 on it) If you want 3.6R advice and TONs of details, look at the 3.6R sticky Yes thats a good price. These cars last 300k with normal maintannce. The only issues in my 110k of ownership is: 1) serpentine belt and tensioner/idler pulleys went. <-- you lose power steering and A/C but it doesnt damage the motor when they go 2) PVC leaks occur periodically, its a $15 part. Aside from that, they don't break.
  14. Better question for the 6th gen group, but its for the h6 and their motors are identical. Be advised the stock airbox is already a CAI and its bigger, this actually can reduce flow.
