  1. I'm sure this is answered somewhere , but do I understand that the Ipod Pro kit includes both and Aux and and Ipod connector to allow an Ipod and something like a sat radio to be connected?
  2. Paradiso: What year Alfa is that. I had an 85 . I loved it. And hated it.
  3. Does the buzzing change when the headlights are on? My daughters Impreza had an awful high pitched hum that came thru the xm radion but only when the headlight switch was on. Neither I nor the installer made the connection (sorry, no pun intended) since the headlights are always on. After weeks, I finally noted that the hum went way when the dashboard light control was full on and returned when the dash lights were dimmed. The problem was the antenna crossed near the reostat that ontrolled the dash dimmer and caused an electrical interference thru the XM input to the HU.
  4. I have been following this thread for a while and don't understand something. The point of an aux. input is to directly input a device to the system. I can see a device like an IPod that uses the connector as in input/output . Then there would be a direct digital connection. But a device like a sat radio uses the headphone jack as the output. Isn't this analog? So why does it work? OK, I'm electronic device challenged, I know. Thanks
