  1. Is there another one that Im not aware of? Also do the AVCS pulleys ever leak?
  2. It is a JDM EJ20X longblock with my USDM intake and electronics. With these motors they come with the exhaust AVCS which I do not have plugged in becuase i do not have that plug on my wiring harness. 08 LGT 135K Blow motor at 114k twinscroll turbo setup
  3. Off of the valve/metal nipple small line to the back of the intake right? I have the Perrin inlet and the back side of the pcv plastic T thing goes into my turbo inlet. Then down a hose into the top of the crank case. PCV valve rattles and holds air from going back in to the crank case.
  4. I recently installed AEM wideband in my DP for tuning reasons (logs say i have a boost leak). At first when he was tuning at WOT the wideband would max out at 8.50 (rich) but at idle it would read 14-15 really close to my upstream o2 sensor. So he stopped tuning until I find a boost leak that he thinks i have. After doing boost tests and fixing a couple leaky spots the wideband is reading 18 (lean) and will rarely go down to a number that is close to my upstream sensor. When I do baby pulls i my upstream reads 11-13 but my wideband is staying at 18. So should i check for exhaust leak in between headers and DP?
  5. I recently replaced the the T and valve. Could I have the PVC hoses going to the wrong spot? One into the block, one into the backside of the intake and one into the turbo inlet?
  6. When I bought the JDM motor (33K miles on motor is what they said....) I had the guy do a compression test and the videos he sent me all said 160 (ej20x) but when I changed plugs I did a compression and the all said 140 after 10k miles. I might do a leak down test myself
  7. I have replaced my pcv valve and im still getting oil coming out of my timing belt cover. Last time I pulled the cover off I looks like the oil is being flung onto the timing belt case and dripping down, timing belt did not seem to have much oil on it. What are most common problems for excessive crank case pressure? Or would it be a problem with my heads? Setup is a EJ20x longblock with USDM intake. Exhaust AVCS not plugged in due to the USDM harness not having the connectors.
  8. The EJ20x is the JDM motor for the LGT that has a higher compression ratio and some stronger internals. It does come with duel avcs and i do have the exhaust avcs unplugged do to the USDM wiring harness does not come with those plugs.
  9. I had my tuners trusted shop perform a smoke test and no visible leaks. He also did a fuel pressure test that check out good. My tuner said that I need to resolve the boost leak at WOT before he will do anymore tuning at WOT. Car drives good on highway and around town. What would cause my cam seals to leak after i replaced them? To much crankcase pressure?
  10. I am chasing a weird boost leak of some sort, I have smoke tested it at a shop and I boost tested it tonight with a homemade tester with no success. I have gone through and read a lot of post on boost leak testing and I have tried multiple methods. Current setup is a 2008 LGT sedan, jdm EJ20X longblock with USDM intake and electronics, Perrin turbo inlet, cobb sf, grimmspeed tmic, jdm twinscroll vf44 (i think is the model number) and full cattless exhaust, dechsworks fuel pump, AEM wideban 02 in the downpipe. Issues im having with the LGT are that I am getting a boost leak when I am at WOT and feels funny other times when its still in vacuum. My tuner had me install a AEM wideban so he could get more accurate o2 readings. Whenever I am WOT the AEM wideban goes maxed out rich and lean, its random. But my front o2 is reading 11 or 12 at WOT. Also I am having excessive oil coming out of my cam seals leaking out of my timing belt cover. I changed all 4 cam seals and its still leaking, could I possible have my pcv system hooked up wrong? And if im having trouble building boost could it be causing excessive crank case pressure?
