I did this today... Took about 20 minutes and that was with connecting the wrong side of the red wire the first time... I didn't use a quick connector- I just cut both, stripped both, then connected the greens and the red together, used a jumper to the remaining green wire from the gray connector... Great fix! Thanks man!
