  1. All_talk, I’m pretty sure at least one of them grounded… Maybe two I don’t think any more than that, but I expect you’re probably on the right path… I did, however, explain exactly what happened to the outfit I said the computers off too, so you think they would’ve checked… But you know how that goes. 2. Sent out the ECM, TCM, and BIU to be checked. Supposedly reprogrammed all 3 and returned. Absolutely no change. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. That’s what I’m thinking. Everything else checks out as far as I can tell, and the few “no crank/Er Hc” threads I find seem to end that way, unless it was preceded by an engine in n out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. The only way I know to check the individual wires is to power one end, and check for power at the other end. Quite a process with all the wiring in this space ship. I'm more adept with older vehicles. This one has me guessing, and I like to at least have some idea of where to continue.
  5. Just the plug itself melted. just the two pins actually. I have not torn it apart any farther than was needed to put a new plug on. every junction I can see looks good. The harnesses at the ECU and the large connector to the right of the engine bay all appear fine. The only thing that looks slightly amiss in the ECU itself is a spot labeled T817 which someone said on another board/thread is an unpopulated area.
  6. oddly, none of the descriptions on Code P0725 in the link you sent match anything else I've seen. P0725 is a TCM code for no signal from engine speed sensor. I replaced the MAF connector. As the MAF was not connected at the time of the event, i did not think it would need replaced. Side note, as best I can tell, none of the codes relate to the MAF sensor. # are for the accelerator, but I changed the pedal years ago due to a common isssue.
  7. Just the 2 left pins melted (if you're holding it clip up, and facing you) actually, none of my codes are on that list, the link for manuals did not include 2006, and 2005 had no TOC as far as I could see, and at over 6000 pages... I could replace the car before I read it all! Thanks! i'm just not sure what to try next?
  8. Thanks for the list. I’ve already looked up the codes. I’m at a loss for what to do next. I’ve disconnected the battery several times, the ECU, the super connector… all the fuses are good. I’m no stranger to working on stuff, but this thing has more parts than anything needs. Also, P0725 wasn’t on that list.
  9. Ok. I had a ‘moment’ and left my wife’s MAF unplugged after changing her air filter. It melted to the heat shield and the car died. Towed home, Er Hc on the odometer. No crank, no start Replaced the plug, no change. No other codes show on the dash, but I bought a code reader and pulled 5. P0725 P0741 P1718 P1714 P1708 It always has had a CEL and sometimes the Sport light would come on before all this, and I’m thinking the last 3 codes are related to the throttle pedal unit I replaced years ago. If anyone has any ideas I’m all ears. As easy as it was for me to screw this up, I can’t seem to find a similar problem anywhere. Also, there is a fuse to the right and down from the inside fuse panel. All by itself, below the relays. What is it for? It does not seem to have power any time. TIA
