I brought my 2011 Legacy 2.5i CVT with 135,000 miles on it to my local dealer after receiving the warranty letter. For over a year now I've had the stumbling and stalling after coming to an abrupt stop. After inspection, they replaced my torque converter under the extended warranty with no questions. I am very happy with the service I received and the car runs great now.

I have a steady stall on abrupt stops too, which I 100% attribute to the CVT. 120k mi

It really sucks you had to go thru all this. It's obvious you've gone above and beyond to comply. Here in the People's Republic of Maryland, it is surprisingly easy to perform the semi-annual emissions check. We even have a self-service OBD kiosk you can hook up to in the middle of the night on weekends now. i hope SoA makes it right.
