Same issues and I had two other leaks besides the valve covers. The oil pressure switch in the front of the manifold was leaking out the top and onto the top of the engine then down the passenger side. You should be able to easily see this one. My biggest problem was the PCV and another breather hose in the back top side of the engine. I basically had to replace anything made of rubber back there. I wouldn't even suggest trying to take it apart until you have all the new hoses in hand. Everything rubber I touched back there basically disintegrated when I tried to remove it.

It looks like they are back in stock. I skimmed over the bulbfacts site and see that they recommend the "Hikari Ultra". I don't see the kit you selected reviewed. Is there a particular reason you picked the $37 kit over the $69 or $89 kits? Just curious. I'm going to pull the trigger on the $37 kit since my passenger light just went out anyway and its not that much more than regular bulbs. BTW thanks for this thread and all the others you have out there. This is my first turbo subaru and I have learned a great deal from them.
