  1. For those complaining about the sync/dual option in the previous generation, it's been fixed in the current generation. There's a dual button that has an orange light to signify it's on. It can be activated two ways: one is to push the button. The other is to push on the arrows on the passenger side. - Also, There's a LO (below 60) and HI (above 90), where it will blow maximum fans at coldest/hottest air possible at ALL times. I also have a previous gen ACC, and minus the duality knobs, it's a pretty easy system and not all that lame. Temperature range is adequate for the temperate climate I'm in. A/C will work to dehumidify the air, (removing the fog on the windshield) and the fans can be adjusted as necessary.
  2. - Update So, I bought the car, and with a turbo failure and engine rebuild later. My car is running fine, and I know this sounds silly, but with it being under warranty (Engine AND turbo), I'm going to stick with going to the dealership for the oil changes until the warranty runs out. This way, if there is another turbo failure (or worse), they'll honor their warranty. I'll pay a little bit more, but if the car runs great and still does outside the warranty, then I'll go ahead and change the oil myself.
  3. Ok guys! Thanks for the input! I hope to finalize the purchase of it on Monday and come home with it!
  4. The 2010 RRP is mine, the 2005 Brilliant Silver 2.5i is my bf's. Soon to bring a 2006 Brilliant Silver GT to join the group! No, we bought the cars prior to meeting.
  5. I am going to be purchasing an '06 LGT from a guy who really doesn't want the car. He stated that he changed the oil recently, but not knowing the LGTs, I don't think he put in the right oil. Now, the drive back to my house is about an hour, and I'll drive the car rather gingerly there. But I wanna to change the oil as soon as I can. Reading through this forum, I know there are varying opinions, but how should I go about to clean out the oil that was put into the engine?
