  1. So I started receiving this code occasionally along with P0700 which is just transmission MIL light. Then recently it's been often :spin: (once on my drive to work, then again on the way home which is about 65kms each way). Because of the amount of KMs on the car (400,000+ kms) and the age of the car (2008) I tried first to drain the transmission fluid and replace with fresh. Before doing so I was receiving the light as mentioned above twice a day. Once I did the fluid I didn't receive it for many days but it's back to it's once a commute trigger. I've read that people have replaced the hull sensor on the valve body and this has corrected it. I just want to see if anyone has done anything else that has fixed this any other way? Opening the transmission and dropping the valve body is not something I can do in my condo parking spot. Atleast not easily or without people noticing.
  2. Hello all, it's been a while since I've been here but I am stumped on my issue History: Back in December my HVAC fan bearings went and the fan was making a horrible racket. Replaced it with one from the junk yard and was working fine till about mid April when the fan just didn't work anymore. I checked fuses, the relay, tried to put the old fan back but nothing worked. I researched here and online and the only other thing it could have been was the blower motor transistor. Found someone local parting out their car and tested their transistor in my car. It worked immediately with my fan in my car but I didn't install it fully at their place. Got home installed it and the fan that was quiet since December started to sound like the one I had originally. Turned it off and left it over night because I was frustrated. The next day I turned it on again and didn't have any fan anymore. I tried putting in the old noisy fan but it won't turn on either. I've been driving this way for a while but now it's starting to get hot and I'll need some A/C soon. I haven't checked fuses, relay yet however I hear the relay clicking when I turn it on so I doubt that is the issue. I'm pretty certain it's the transistor but what could cause it to go after one day? If I was to buy a brand new one I'd be afraid of it stopping too. Is there anyway to test the transistor unit? Thanks in advance...
  3. Has anyone done this to a 2008? I was looking to do this ever since I had a rental car with the flip key on it.
