  1. That's something that I might have to look into. Currently, I'll be making my own stereo adapters since everything has gone up in price by more than 3x the cost I was originally getting them for. So to make sure I keep costs down and still offer quality I just sourced the connectors but all the wiring will be high quality 18 gauge TXL wire. If anyone has examples of the harness you guys are talking about I'll start looking into it. That way I can see what's needed and if I can source everything in bulk. If you guys have links to any write ups that would help as well.
  2. Where ever you might have bought it from I'm glad everything is working great for you!
  3. I'm having the same issues. I think it's that one clip that's part of the fender. Well I assumed that was the issue.
  4. Well boys here's a small update. I found a great deal locally for some Gen 5 Fortune Auto Coilovers with swift springs. The coilovers have less than 2k miles. Only thing one of the rear boots is torn so I ordered a new pair of dust boots and the rear dampening extenders. Figured it would be wise to do that before I install them. They're 8k fronts / 6k rears, if after installing them and I don't like the ride I'll upgrade the fronts to 10k swift springs and put the current 8k front swift springs to the rear coilovers. My Tein Flex Z coilovers are just to soft for me and are set to full max. It was a great come up for sure. I've always wanted to own a set of fortune auto's and I finally I have a set. I can't wait to see how they ride compared to my Flex Z's. Only other coilovers I have are the Silver's Neomax with swift springs on my s13 and I love them.
  5. Hi Everyone, Sorry I've been MIA! It's been kind of crazy on my end which is great. Thanks to the Legacy & 240sx community I've been quite busy where I don't even on come on here as much as I should. I'm always building harnesses so I have stock on hand for the community. I just wanted to thank all of you who've supported me since I decided to start making these harnesses. On a side note I even had a great shop make a YouTube video on my S-Chassis (240sx) Power Steering Fittings. If anyone is interested in taking a look at the video here is the link to it Faction Motorsports YouTube Review. Hopefully, everyone is doing well, healthy and just enjoying our Legacy's. If anyone needs a quick response please don't hesitate in reaching out on my website, email, or hitting me up on Facebook & Instagram @tightfitfab. I always try and respond quickly no matter what day it is. By the way life might get a little more busy since my wife and I found out that we're going to have a baby! After 10 years it's definitely a blessing! P.S. This is the same post I made on the "Official dual HVAC Double Din (JDM) Kit thread V2" thread. Thank you, Raul

  7. So a few weeks ago the wife and I decided to take our tandem kayak out. I figured I'd put it on the leggy since she's running so well. I have to admit that using this car has been a lot of fun! Now I understand why so many people love Subaru's.
  8. Sorry for the late response. I did go through the diagnosis steps and while doing that I found the issue with the connector. Once I used that pigtail from my local pick-n-pull the error code went away.
  9. Small Update Well, I got tired of seeing how messed up my passenger headlight was. I decided to buy a harbor freight drill buffing kit. While buffing I noticed that it was oxidated from the inside. So I went to my local pick n pull and picked up a different set. I started with wet sanding with 800 and 1000 grit sandpaper. Once I was done with that I went ahead and sprayed the headlights with SprayMax 2k glamour clear coat. The headlight really came out great with the four coats of clear I sprayed. Only down fall was while I was driving home last night I noticed how much dimmer my headlights were. I was thinking that the 4 coats of clear were too much. In every Youtube video, I watched everyone recommended spraying 2 to 3 coats of clear. This morning I decided to wet sand the cleared headlights with 1500 and 2000 grit sandpaper and then buff, polish, and a wax job. Let me tell you they look great especially since I sanded out the little orange peel they had. Hopefully, sanding out a coat and a half really brighten up my headlights again! What the headlights looked like: Started installing the recoated headlights: Recoated headlights installed: Wet sanded and buffed headlights:
  10. That's true. I've been doing bodywork and painting cars since I was 15 and I'm 39. The paint is pretty done. It's chipping and cracking here and there. It would be easier to just reshoot the car. I'm waiting till next year because I'm currently working on my brother's 1977 Datsun 280z. So I'm pretty swamped. It was originally my car but I gave it to my brother for his 13th birthday and he's 30 now lol.
  11. There are a bunch of dings all around the car especially over the rear quarter panels above the wheels. I also have surface rust on the roof by the windshield. The old owner must had a roof rack on the car because you can see bunch of dents and scratches. Also thanks for the compliment. The car is coming along slowly but surely.
  12. Update Well, it's been a while since I've been on here. I've really enjoyed the car and driving it daily. The car got Etuned on the virtual dyno at 296whp and 336lb-ft of torque on 91 octane. I've done a few more upgrades like new wheels (Enkei NT-03M) and hood struts. Nothing really crazy! Next year I'll be upgrading the vf52 to a Grimmspeed turbo and should put me closer to the 400hp range I hope. Honestly, the car feels super responsive and who knows I might just leave it as is. I'm also going to start bodywork and paint for the car after this summer. That's the next thing to be done to the car. Also, upgrade the suspension arms and probably get better coilovers to replace the used ones I bought for her. I just want to get her a bit more cleaned up. Here are a few pics of the car and one with my 240sx.
  13. I'm running a RA block and I'm loving it. I'm currently just finishing up the break in process and have been tuning. So far she pulls nice and she's ready to get fully tuned!
  14. Here's a stupid question I just thought about. Would we have to tune our cars for the 6 speed? I'm just wondering since I'm currently tuning my car and if I have to update my tune at some point I don't mind. I just want to have a fun daily driver. I'll probably stay at 350 hp at the most with my setup.
