3.0R announcement at Chicago Auto Show?

Recommended Posts

This from the Sunday Chicago Tribune, in the Transportation section, in a piece about the Detroit Auto Show, and the Legacy, both base and GT in particular: "Base versions will be a 2.5-liter, 168-hp engine and high-end versions a 3-liter 6-cylinder that Subaru says will have more horsepower than the current 212." The piece mentions the Legacy GT, and cites Subaru sources for every bit of information. Know, also, that while magazines deal in speculation, etc...newspapers don't. Looks like there will be quite a bit of news for Chicago, a longtime Subaru hotbed. My colleagues are on the case...woot! Kevin

That would certainly be nice. It could refer to the Outback since that is where it has its debut as you are aware of. I'll keep my fingers crossed because I think that an H6 will be more attractive to most people shopping for a six cylinder car. It's not like most people shop by lbs/hp.
I hope to find out first hand. Gotta hook up with a number of people to go down and see the new Legs. :)
I'm definitely going, on the day of the planned Outback announcement. Kevin
