Kraziken
Who can host a large MPEG file? I just got my video cd from the ebay auction, a Best Motoring review of the new legacy. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=42852&item=3374466574&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBWN%3AIT Of course, it's entirely japanese, but who needs to understand it anyway. :P

PPower
I have the Legacy test by itself on my HD and needs divx to play it. Let me know if somebody would like me to upload it somewhere. 15.7MB From the MT vs. Auto thread, posted the following: For those wondering about how the auto handles compared to the manual, you should hunt down a copy of Best Motoring from August (I believe). Included in the wagon test were Audi RS6, Spec B manual, Spec B auto, Toyota Caldina, and Volvo V70 T-5. 1. Legacy Spec B (5MT) lap1- 1'15"06 lap2- 1'09"61 lap3- 1'09"71 TOTAL 3'34"37 2. Audi RS6 Avant lap1- 1'15"70 lap2- 1'09"69 lap3- 1'10"66 TOTAL 3'36"05 3. Legacy Spec B (5AT) lap1- 1'19"55 lap2- 1'12"31 lap3- 1'12"50 TOTAL 3'44"36 4. Toyota Caldina lap1- 1'19"07 lap2- 1'13"62 lap3- 1'12"68 TOTAL 3'45"37 5. PPower
e-mail and uploading are two different things. Sorry, but I can't e-mail anything that large. I've already tried.
AMT4SWA
For three laps I see the 5 spd AT was slower (compared to the 5 spd MT) by about 10 seconds...I am actually surprised that it was this close. The "manual" GT did very good over the competition...the video must ROCK to see!!! 8)
Kraziken
Well it seems I can't find a resource to upload the video. I captured some frames from the video and posted it to the photo Album. My favorite is the wagon slide. :P
PPower
I tried uploading to a person's server, but I still can't get it to work. Tide, can we get this site registered with we-todd-did-racing.com?
SUBE555
The file is rather LARGE. But I have it, its a simple race, but needless to say, fun to watch. Also have the one which compares the V7 and V8 STi's. The S401 is in that one too. :P Best Motoring rules!
PPower
i cleared room on my account, and I'll keep it up for a couple of weeks so you guys get a chance to download it. It will take a while, but it's worth it. http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/wetoddimage.wtdr/i=wMjQ4MDA4NnM0MTNkZmQzMXk1NDE%3D

mycl
Yeah, that race is pretty cool to watch... i wonder what the driver's said about each of their cars / the race... i.e. can any1 speak Jap here?!?!?! 8)
PPower
cool. I wasn't sure if it was working because just linking pictures doesn't seem to work. The only part of the translation I heard was that the Audi's weight was hard on the tires and brake fade. Tsukuba is a tight course that seems to favor a well balanced car and doesn't seem to allow a car with an acceleration advantage to exploit that as much as one with longer straights. On the launch, the RS6 should have taken the the Legacy, but it looks like 1) he didn't have the revs up at launch, and 2) he seemed blocked by traffic and had to take a longer path around the outside of traffic to get ahead. The Legacy MT made more of a straight shot down the middle of the cars.
