PPower
Legacy, because the 9-2 is just a WRX wagOn. Now, I'm waiting for a 9-5X so that we can get smaller bumpers. :D
SUBE555
Why pay extra for leather (which i hate) in a WRX which isn't as much car as the Legacy GT will be for nearly the same price or more than a base GT. Saab 9-2X Aero doesn't hold the same value in my book.
team23jordan
stupid people who dont know this car is basically the same car as impreza wagen will buy this car because it's european car and european car usually hold their value more than american/japanese cars Perrin BIG maf intake Perrin Turbo Inlet HKS SSQV BOV Megan Racing header with UP (ceramic coated) HKS DP (WRX) DMH E-cutout Custom 3" catback UTEC
SUBE555
 I can't wait to pull next to one and say 'Hey nice WRX!' Same thing as saying to someone with a PT Cruiser, 'hey nice Neon!' :D
gtguy
The Legacy is a no-brainer, but the SAAB will be nicer (and better looking...no rails) than a WRX wagon. Kevin

AMT4SWA
I have owned a SAAB before (9-3 2001 model for the wife), and I think this car will be very akward for SAAB to market IMO...the jury will be out for a while on this quick attempt to offer a lower price point vehicle for SAAB (GM trying to salvage SAAB???).

Derbagger
It depends on how you look at it. It is an expensive WRX, but its a cheap Saab. I kind of reminds me of the old Infiniti G20. It was aLOT for a Sentra, but cheap for a luxury car. My guess, wait a few months and buy one on rebate. You will get leather/sunroof/wheels for cheap. By the way, how come the 92X gets a hole in the roof, but not the WRX wagon?
PPower
I don't know why the WRX wagon doesn't get a hole. If anything, it should be the only one to get the hole since there is more headroom to begin with. My guess is that it pushes sales to the sedan which they probably make more money on. The wagon is $800 less than a sedan w/ wing (which almost all have). In all other countries, the wagon is at least $700 MORE than the sedan w/ wing. It's strange to have that $1500 price differential. i'm guessing that there is more profit margin in the sedan, so somebody REALLY wanting a hole will get the sedan instead of the wagon. just a guess. Dr. Zevil
Yeah, I had a WRX in 2001.. I don't need a new one with a SAAB badge on it. They have definitely made some improvements, but it's still just a WRX. Nice car none the less!
It's all called marketing Preston. And what is over half of marketing? Speculation. I think Subaru should be giving people coming into the dealerships for oil changes and normal service a survey to find out what they want to see on their next Subaru. Maybe that would get some better market research, especially considering there isn't anything better to do when most people take their car in for an oil change. Hmm, new ideas. :?
