Description: AVO bar and plate TMIC upgrade for the USDM Legacy GT.
The standard factory setup for the Legacy GT is quite inefficient and does not allow your engine to produce anywhere near it's full potential. The AVO Intercooler Upgrade kit uncorks your engine, giving you much more wheel horsepower. This power is found everywhere on the rpm band, making your Legacy much more fun to drive. Better response and a deeper well of torque to dip into!

Pros: Works as advertized
Cons: Not perfect fitment but not horrible

I purchased mine used from a member. Was told it was a v.2. It doesn't clear the top of the clutch slave cylinder. That bolt on the top of the cylinder rubs on the fins of the intercooler. I filed it smooth but I still have a nice little dent in the fins now because of it. The front bolt hole for the turbo flange was located in a way that a 12mm socket could not be placed on the bolt head (material from the end tank was in the way.) I wound up filing a bunch of material away and going to a bolt with a 10mm head on it. problem solved. Other than these slight problems everything fit fine and the throttle side of the intercooler feels cool to the touch even after fairly spirited driving.

Pros: fit, finish, workmanship
Cons: price

tried a competitors product and had trouble with installation. purchased the AVO v.2 fit perfect no problems plus the AVO has a clearcoat which makes for easy cleaning and a finished appearance. would buy it again. bosco

Pros: Harder pulls, great fit
Cons: None

Finally got a TM . Had it on in 15 min and no fitment issues. Then again I don't use the engine cover. Surprised that even without a TM specific map, My leggy ran as fast as ever with very strong upper range torque . Highly recommended

Pros: fitment, styling
Cons:

Installed in 30 mins, perfect fit on an 05 OBXT. After ECU reset, noticeable torque gains at highway speed.

Pros: Fits Great!
Cons: Expensive.

Purchased mine used from another member. Was only 2 weeks old and in "new" condition. Paid only $500, but still think that is a bit much for a TMIC. Retail is outrageous. On the plus side it fits great and works better than OEM.
