Description:

Tein Type BASIC damper is a high performance coilover suspension system without the rediculously high price tag. The whole package consists of 4 springs and 4 shocks with the dampening matched to the spring rates for your car resulting in balanced suspension travel and dampening force. This cannot be matched by springs/struts combo or "sleeve type" coilover. Spring rate is 6 kg/mm in the front and 7 kg/mm in the rear.
Very high quality construction with extensive R&D to help ensure long reliable use. Made in Japan with ISO9001 Certificate of Quality.

lowers car level,adjustable ride height, alot of damping force so ride quality is close to stock comfort while still being lowered.

I had the Tein S.tech springs for about a year before the upgrade to the basic dampers. The springs didnt lower the car level and the bumps hurt pretty bad. bottomed out on the stock shocks during aggressive driving. Upgraded to the basic dampers , such a better choice. i was able to lower the car nice and level sits perfect. ride quality was greatly improved almost stock or better while being pretty low. a way better choice than springs.
