Description: Like all of our exhaust products we take the time to properly engineer sound solutions. Most manufacturers are selling solid one piece units that are prone to leakage. The factory USDM units utilize a flex joint and for good reason. No one needs to be told of the enormous engine movement of the EJ20, not including a flex joint was not an option for us, it is 100% necessary.

Our Up-Pipe utilizes 2.00" Grade 304 Stainless Steel Tubing. The Up-Pipe uses a "Tube in Flange" Design for maximum strength and reliabilty. This means that the tubing is inserted into the flange and then TIG welded both inside and out.

We intentionally place the stainless steel braided flex joint at the bottom of the pipe. This way the turbulent gases leaving the collector will have as much length as possible to become smoother before entering the turbo exhaust inlet; therefore reducing lag and resulting in faster spoolup.

Because the precat has been removed, we DO NOT include a bung for the EGT sensor. Inserting the stock sensor will only trigger a CEL and throw constant DTC's. We do include a resistor that is easily inserted into the sensor plug to eliminate the CEL and supply the ECU with the correct sensor voltage.

Each pipe is provided with high strength steel studs and reusable ovalized self locking hardware.

NOTE: Gaskets are NOT suppled with our Up-Pipes.

Pros: Great Looks, flex section, price, fit
Cons: Flex section, no heat-treatment option

Spool up is so fast now. Also, you can hear the turbo and it's intoxicating. My installer praised the fitment.
