Pros: Size, Adds just the right amount of bass
Cons: none

I have this sub installed in my 2007 Legacy GT (as it came installed when I purchased car) and I have no complaints about it. It adds just the right amount of bass to give the stereo that 'bump' that the high school kid in all of us want to hear without sacrificing not being able to hear the music and lyrics to the songs. My biggest pro to this sub is having the ENTIRE trunk to store whatever you need without the sub getting in the way. It will even shake the mirrors if you have it up on +6 setting with a beaty hip-hop song

I would definitely recommend buying this sub to add to your stock stereo if you want the bass without having to sacrifice space or noise distortion. Even for the ~$190 dollars this costs, its still worth it in my opinion. I'll do some math for the mathematically challenged individuals:

aftermarket sub: $80-$200 dollars a piece
sub box: $30-$300 dollars
aftermarket amplifier: $100-$500 dollars
amp/sub wiring kit: $40-$100 dollars
line-out converter for stock deck: ~$20 dollars
TOTAL: $270 dollars (for cheap package)

Pros: Size, placement and ease of installation.
Cons: None

A breeze to install,,compliments the factory stereo perfectly. Unless you plan on entering a stereo contest you will be more than pleased with this sub.

Pros: Descrete, easy to install, no wires running everywhere in car
Cons: Not as strong as aftermarket, bass too concentrated from driver's side

I just installed the subwoofer in my 2005 LGT, wiring and bracket was simple.

When I bought my car, the previous owner put a set of Infinity Reference components in the rear and the bass was lacking.
Adding this OEM sub rounded out the system really well.

One thing to note though the gain adjustment and HPF should be adjusted to your liking, but if you adjust the gain too much, you're ass will vibrate since its placement is directly under the seat. What I recommend is that first adjust the bass so your door speakers sound the best to you, then add in the sub and adjust it's HPF and gain.

my settings are: Bass +4 | Mid +3 | Treble +2

Pros: Rounds out the sound
Cons: Still a bit pricey

I bought my LGT about a month ago. I liked the highs and mids, but there was no bass. When I learned of the OEM sub, I paid the $200 shipped and got it installed. It really rounded the system out, giving some good bass for a stock system. For the people wanting "look at me" bass, look elsewhere. For those that want just a bit more oomph, it's definitely worth it!

Pros: Doesn't take up any usable space. Decent power. Easy to install
Cons: Won't shake your mirrors off (Not a con for me)

When I first installed it I really wasn't impressed with the power, but as time went on it really started to grow on me and the bass hits pretty hard for a little subwoofer like this.

You definitely feel the rumble under your ass when you driving.

Pros: Fit, performance, size
Cons: won't give you deep bass

Rounds out the factory speaker system nicely. If you want bass to really feel... then you'll need to go bigger, however.

Pros: Good bass, adds a lot ot the stock system
Cons: none

A must have option. The stock radio sounds awful without it. Adds a lot to the stock system and completes it.

Pros: Good sound for the size
Cons: no separate control of level from the head unit

if your vehicle didn't come with this, definitely look into it. Especially if you want to keep your stereo small and factory this is the way to go. Adds a lot to the bass capacity.

Pros: stealthy, Good sound
Cons: No control, can lack feel.

Love the fit and finish into the car.

wish that the unit had better controls on it. My wife's old element had a sub-woofer level controller.

Pros: Good sound for the size. Stealthy. Easy to install.
Cons: There are cheaper alternatives.

This is a good subwoofer for its size and price. Very easy to install. Be careful when routing the wires to make sure that the seat travel does not cut the wires. I didn't have to remove the seat to rout the wires. It just takes some time to carefully tuck the wires in.

Also, make sure to properly calibrate the cross over point and amplification.

I would have rated this 9 or 10, but I found out after I bought this that some WRX subwoofers are identical and about $80 cheaper. The only difference is the bracket that attaches to the seat track. There are two Subaru wiring harnesses so if you decide to use a different Subaru sub, make sure the pins are compatible.

Pros: ease of install (already in my car when i bought it)
Cons: Weak

It was already in the car when i bought it, but i heard LGTs without them and there ain't much difference. It's under my seat and i can't tell. I'm not the biggest audio guy, but when i brag about having a sub under the seat, i don't want to hear passengers say "really?"

Pros: Good for an unmodifed look.
Cons: Not enough bass.

I used to have a box in the trunk of my old car, but it was a pain when hauling cargo, needing to use the pass-through seats, etc. With this under-seat sub, I'll never have to worry about that again. For those of us who like a little added sound, it's perfect. For those of you who want to go deaf soon, this is not the product for you.

Pros: Adds some nice depth
Cons: It isn't a pounder

It is a nice addition to the sound system for OEM, granted I have SRS WOW in the 07 B, the OEM sub still adds some depth to the music...and gives the passenger in the front a bit of good vibrations when the music is turned up.

I wish it had a touch larger magnet. I'm not an audiophile, so I won't really bother with amps and sub enclosures cutting out my trunk or spare tire space, so this has to do...just with it had a bit more oomph.

Pros: Clean install
Cons: Immediately dissappointed

Could barely hear it over the stock door speakers. It didn't do jack for the sound and your better off either saving your money or going with a aftermarket sub and amp.
