Pros: nice sound, easy install
Cons: can be annoying if you dont like the way it sounds i guess...

I just put the typhoon intake in my 05 lgt and it is the first upgrade i made to my car. I lovvvvvvve the way it sounds (much louder than stock) and it was a lot easier to instan that i thought it would be. I will post in a month or two to see how i like it then.

Pros: Qualtiy build, easy install
Cons: Metal tube can get warm to touch.

This is the first mod I put on my car. I have always loved to hear my car when I drive. With this I can gun it and get a pleasant audible feed back. On the flip side I can still creep around unnoticed in the quietest of place if I keep it in low RPM's. However if you want a quiet ride all the time then you should go get yourself a nice slow electric car and stop complaining! The only thing I would change is the insulated intake tube. The metal can get warm. You get what you pay for with this and just a little extra.

Pros: Easy install, K&N brand
Cons: LOUD

I purchased the K&N Typhoon to accommodate my xo2 FMIC. I heard that it was louder but I didn't know how loud. It was an easy install, but if I didn't need it for my FMIC then I wouldn't use it. It wouldn't be so bad if it was only under full throttle but it is loudest under partial boost.
