Pros: What all of the above said.
Cons: None

Worth it. For the sound at least. My car is tuned for it so I guess any beneficial HP may be there. Who knows; but definitely sounds crazy when you cane it. No sense having a turbo car that you can't hear. IMHO

Pros: Fit and finish, materials of construction
Cons: Noise gets obnoxious, caused -KC with Cobb Stg 1 and Stg. 2 maps

I would recommend this CAI... but be sure you get a pro-tune for it. If you are running the stock ECU map... then it will work just fine for you.

The noise is quite loud and can get a little annoying. Especially if you are running higer boost levels... then the wastegate flutter is VERY annoying.

Pros: Great Sound, Easy Install!
Cons: Could not differentiate power gains from stock.

This was my first mod on my 05' LGT and I was stoked because it was affordable and an easy install. Took approx. 30 minutes to build and place in the vehicle, GREAT SOUND! Turbo spool, bypass valve you name it. I could not however feel a real gain in HP. I did notice after putting the stock air box back on that the car seemed to spool faster and pull a little harder... Fun while it lasted, I just sold it.

Pros: Terrific fit right out of the box. Looks great.
Cons: Sound is atrocious.

Whooosh every time I hit the gas or take my foot off the gas. Immediately annoying. If you are susceptible to headaches from high pitches or wind noises, you must avoid this product. Too much noise for a nice new car. Plus, another experienced tuner said the $50 drop-in filter part has a better dyno result. I wish I knew this before. VERY disappointed. Look for this part on e-bay!

Pros: Easy to install, love the sounds
Cons: ummm, I'm still thinking

If you are into all sound mods, this is the only sound mod you need. I love it b/c I always wanted a car were you can hear the turbo. I have been running this intake for over a year and I have not had any problems yet. Only other mod I have is an AVO BOV.

Pros: The sound and power
Cons: none so far

I have had it on my car for about a year and it works great. It will really come in handy when I add my FMIC. I have a TDC stage 1 make tuned for the typhoon and the car runs great. I like the sound the car make. It's not too loud for me. But I come from a '64 Pontiac Grand prix with a 389(now a 400 w tri-power FTW ). I always like to hear what my motor is doing.

Pros: Cool Sound, Minor Power increase
Cons: Sound can get annoying at times, in consistant

day 1 felt nothing just surprised to hear how load the turbo could be vs the stock box. then within a week the ecu must have adapted because it began to feel noticable increase must faster and then it leveled off. All and all i think it added some hp but not the dyno tested 13hp they claim. I am not done mod'ing this was the first, i will be doing a catback and cobb ap stage 2 as well in the near future.

Pros: Sound
Cons: eh...

This was the first mod I put on my car, prolly in the 1st month I had it. I loved it. Not sure if I could really feel any noticeable power gains but I love the sound and still do. If you want sumthin that looks good underhood and makes your car sound fast like a ricer (FTW) this is for you.

Pros: slightly imporved turbo spool up
Cons: TOO LOUD

Had it on my car for a couple weeks. Tried best I could to get over the noise. It's a cool sounding whoosh, but it is just TOO LOUD. It gets annoying cause you hear it all the time. Took it off my car an now I have a K&N panel filter. I removed the air silencer so I can hear some whoosh sound, but you don't hear it unless you're trying to listen for it.

Pros: Excellent build and sound
Cons: none

This is an excellent system for anyone looking for a more aggressive sound of a short ram intake with also being C.A.R.B approved! Greatly increased turbo sounds and bov chirp. I do reccommend running this with a map design for use with the Typhoon.

Pros: cool sound. breathes better. fits well. straightforward install
Cons: sound might get annoying, nothing else yet.

Haven't had this product for a long time. Just installed it 3 days ago. But its running nicely. Sounds like BOV with slight chirp. feels like it's flowing nicely. no strange indicator lights have popped up yet. overall for now i'm happy with the install. will come back to review after a month of use.

Pros: Better gas mileage, improved HP
Cons: NONE

Great product for the money! It is a lot better than the stock box and I love the noise the CAI makes when getting into boost.

Pros: sound...easy install
Cons: sound

The typhoon fits perfectly, was very easy to install, and has a nice sound to it. Very well engineered. It does make a significant amount of noise when spooling. I like the sound it makes - sounds very mean.

Pros: Easy Install, CARB Legal, Fun Sounds
Cons: None yet

The intake definitely makes it known that you're driving a turbocharged car. If you don't like the "wooshing" sound, sell you car and buy a Legacy 2.5i or something naturally aspirated. The power delivery seems smoother at higher speeds. This intake is very high quality, it comes with nice hardware and fits like a dream.
