Pros: Looks great, lightweight, body roll dramatically reduced
Cons: none

Tubular is so light. Body-roll has definitely decreased. Makes me want to go ahead and upgrade the springs right away. Cornering has gone from moderate understeer to neutral/slight throttle-on-oversteer. Amazing difference over stock. Car is now ready for more power. Great early mod.

Pros: Big increase in tossability
Cons: current fit of RSB (soon to be solved)

When the RSB design is fixed I would say this is the best sway bar kit you can get for the LGT!

Turn-in, body roll, g-force limits are all very good for a moderate to hard-core street driver.

These are also very good for an autocrosser. If you are not really concerned with street driving and wish to solely track your car then these might not be aggressive enough for you. (although nobody really makes a real aggressive set for our car yet)

They are tubular, so they weigh less then the competition. The rear reinforcement bracket is als well desgined.

Also of benefit is the fact that the RSB is adjustable. For me that is ideal because I drive on stiff in the summer, and loose in the winter. (prevents excessive oversteer, or snap 180s on ice!)

The u-clamps have a grease numple on them as well, to make maintenance easy.

Easy to follow instruction manual!

The first few made (as of July 06) had a RSB that was not designed properly, causing clearance problems with the lower control arm. It likely won't affect Outbacks or cars that are not lowered (will still hit going over big big bumps) but for most of us that are lowerd a little bit, the problem will be pretty easy to see.

Hopefully COBB will have this probelms solved soon, and they can start making sales!

Pros: transforms handling charactistics - corners like a champ now
Cons: rsb sits a little low - might drag when I add lowering springs

The cobb f/r sways are exactly what this car needed. From day #1 I was disappointed with the stock handling - rode too much like a Lincoln - wallowing around corners and not at all confidence inspiring at the limit. Teins all around and a new set of real tires are planned next - should be really fun after that.

Pros: Excellent Package
Cons: Front Bar a skif narrow

Bolted on these sway bars and the car went from vague and mushy in high speed sweepers, to flat and concise (much firmer)... I would rate as an easy mod that provides a great deal of bang for the buck. The front bar is narrow, although I have not had any end link issues as a result.

Pros: Easy install, body roll reduced as advertised, quality finish, grease fittings and included braces/reinforcements a nice touch
Cons: front is somewhat narrow

With provided instructions, install is relatively easy and straightforward. The overall change in ride is subtle in most situations. I still have stock struts and springs so ride remains cushy. But, car does turn/corner flatter and feels generally more controlled. Feels closer to what I might have expected from day one for something purported to be a sports sedan.

The only minor disappointment was with the front bar. Definitely narrower than the stock bar. I installed with new kartboy links and ended up using a few washers on each end to get everything to line-up correctly. Not a big deal (I am still overwhelmingly pleased with the purchase and results) just not what I'd expected.

Pros: night and day difference
Cons: wish kit included endlinks

The directions included were great! Install was not hard at all either. After getting under the car I could easily see why the reinforcement brackets were designed and included, and I would recommend anyone buying any kind of RSB to buy the Cobb brackets.
I could immediately feel the difference when I got the car on the road. I thought that the springs had made a huge difference, but clearly there was still a lot of room to improve. Understeer is gone and even on the stiff setting the ride is not uncomfortable. The best way I can think of to describe the feeling is that the car goes exactly where I expect it to, where as before it was just in the general area. I can actually feel the car cut into turns now, and the car reacts much quicker than before. Looking back I would have made these my first mod, and would have bought endlinks at the same time. Great product!!!

Pros: Good looking kit/good value b/c of rear reinforcement plates and seemingly better improvement in handling
Cons: Reinforcement plates a pia to install

For the money, this is one piece made by Cobb that's actually cheaper than other companies. Bought the f/r sway kit and what made it a good value was the inclusion of the rear reinforcement brackets. They were a pia to install but needs to be done. when down there, you can def see how crappy the stock mounting plate is. I can almost bend it back my hand. So def good that Cobb includes something for that. from what I have seen, those replacement brackets can cost around $100. So def a good value for the money.

As far as handling improvements... at this point I just installed them today a few hours ago and just took the car for a short drive around the block to make sure everything I did to my car today was all in working order, but from that drive I could tell a difference. Only sad thing is, that no matter what I do to the suspension of my LGT, the handling will ALWAYS suck until I can justify getting rid of the crappy RE92's (need to burn up the tread more). But all in all I'm happy with this product. Install took me a while as I have never done a suspension install on a Subaru (have on other cars), but all in all it's pretty straightforward.

Also, the bars are considerably bigger than stock and weigh less. Happy about that. Have used other brands on different cars where the bars were much heavier than stock ones.
