Cons:

Rubbed a bit on my big tummy

I have used the seat belt twist method for years when autocrossing, however I recently had the chance to try out the new CG-Lock instructor's version at an autocross event. I had always thought the twist method was secure, however after having used the CG-Lock, the twist method did not feel secure at all.
The instructor's version does not clamp onto buckle the way the original version does. The BL/BP Legacy has a short (length) buckle and the original version does not clamp onto the buckle securely, however, the instructor's version fits onto the buckle as it's supposed to.
I was able to cinch the lap belt down enough that I could not move at all, but when I was finished with a run, I could simply unfasten the seat belt as I would at any other time with no difficulty.
The CG-Lock worked exactly as advertised. I was impressed.
