Description: Agency Power is proud to release it's catback exhaust system for the Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Sedan. The Legacy platform is great for those wanting luxury and comfort with the performance of the STI. With a 2.5L turbo charged engine, this car needed a little help and sound, so Agency Power stepped up to the plate. The Agency Power exhaust features a full 321 stainless steel piping system. Fully polished exhaust pipe and mufflers are from flange to tip for that show quality. The piping is 3 inch from the catalytic converter then splits into a "Y" of 2.5 inch piping to twin straight exit mufflers. The straight through designed mufflers gives the turbo the exhaust flow it needs while creating an amazing Boxxer engine sound. The twin mufflers each have 4 inch titanium burnt edge tips with the Agency Power logo laser etched on them. The exhaust will work with the stock downpipe or aftermarket ones as well.

Not only does the system add style, sound, and performance to your Legacy 2.5GT, it only saves quite a bit of weight off the rear of the car. Agency Power also includes bolt in silencers for those wanting to keep there Legacy super quiet driving to work or on road trips. The silencers easily remove when you want to let out the power and sound! As tested on a Mustang AWD dyno, the Agency Power catback exhaust made 13 wheel horsepower and 15 ft/lbs of torque.

Pros: Titanium tips
Cons: Fitment issues

I bought this exhaust from importimageonline and bran new the exhaust is close to $800. Installed it on my 2005 Subaru Legacy GT 5eat and right away I found problems with fitment. The left muffler dangled too low and seemed to angle too far off of center which made it look absolutely horrible. I ended up taking it to an exhaust shop were they had to bend the muffler to fit correctly. I also have it on a catless setup and it is just too noisy. I am planning on replacing this exhaust with a catted downpipe this summer.

Pros: Great sound and look, full 3" catback
Cons: Minor fitment issues, titanium tips

Got this exhaust used from NASIOC for a steal of a price at $450 shipped. The exhaust sounds throaty and sounds like it means business on WOT. This exhaust lets you know you have a boxer engine. Surprisingly, though, this exhaust does not excessively drone and is even a comfortable note on highway cruising. It comes with optional silencers, which I never plan on using. I have used this exhaust on stock downpipe and on a 3" catted downpipe. The downpipe added some sound, but the car is still easily daily driveable. There is one fitment concern, and that it the flange connecting the midpipe to the Y-pipe. This flange is too tall and rubbed against my driveshaft. I ended up getting this flange cut out and welded. Also, the Titanium tips were almost a make or break for me, they didnt look good to me. Luckily, I discovered a solution to this by polishing the tips with metal polish. This successfully gets rid of the 'burnt tip' look with a good amount of polishing. Posted about how to do this here: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=123627
