Description:

The Perrin single piece catted down pipe is made of polished 304 stainless, 3 inch pipe. The waste gate flow is diverted to a separate pipe that joins up with the main flow after the bend. The downpipe mates up to the mid pipe with a 3 inch flange. This pipe is for MT only.

Extends back from turbo flange too far. Touches firewall

I was disappointed that the this DP touches the firewall. It extends out from the turbo flange more than the Invidia that it replaced did. I don't think this will be a problem, but it does worry me a little. Aside from that issue, the the fitment is perfect everywhere else. Everything under the car was in the right place. The DP did not drop down too far, and it did not sit too close the exhust/driveshaft shield. It lined up great with my stock mid pipe. I used the 3" to 2.5" adapter from Fred beans, and the stock donut gasket. I noticed right away that the stuttering and harsh feeling that I had with the Invidia DP (presumably because of the exhaust leak I had at the midpipe flange, despite my best efforts to fix it) was gone. It felt much smoother and more responsive. I've only put about 20 or 30 miles on it so far, so I can't say it's broken in yet, but I am overall pleased with this product.
